This past Friday I was a victim of the global outage that affected Delta Airlines as I was at the Baltimore BWI airport scheduled to fly to Sacramento with a layover in Atlanta. My original flight was scheduled at noon so I was at the airport before 10am. Throughout the day, as I waited in line with hundreds of other Delta passengers just to get to the ticket counter because they needed paper boarding passes and the kiosks were working but couldn't print baggage tags, I was receiving notifications from both Delta and FOX Travel about the delays and me being rebooked on other flights. I finally got to the ticket counter at 4:30 PM and I missed the last flight they booked me on, so they rebooked me for the last flight out at 5:30pm. That flight ended up being delayed until 1:00 am the next morning. It was then that I contacted Fox and I spoke to 2 ladies that both helped me calm down and get rebooked on another airline to fly out the next day. They were both very helpful and empathetic and I knew they were so busy helping a lot of others in the same situation. Their customer service never waivered and they both called me back giving me status and checking on me since they were unable to see exactly what Delta was doing. Excellent customer service during the chaos definitely helped my anxiety levels. I was so glad they came to my rescue.

I’m going on my second trip with Fox World. My first trip was to Alaska in 2022 when there were still a lot of issues with airline schedules and changes, Covid issues etc… Thru it all Tina Brockway from the Fond du Lac office took care of me. She was always patient and reassuring during my many phone calls and questions. So when I was ready for my next trip I called her to help me again. Travel advisors like Tina are just as important as the trips you offer and that will make me want to travel with Fox World.
Due to my flight being canceled, I was in a pinch for a rental car while stranded at the ATL airport. All the on-site rental car agents told me they were sold out do to the CrowdStrike Global Outage. I'm so grateful the Fox agent was able to secure one for me so I could continue to my destination. Thank you so much!
