My son is in kindergarten and has had trouble reading, he enjoys going to Sylvan and says he is “learning the sounds” so he can read.

So far, my son loves Sylvan. He is actually learning fast and able to comprehend the material he reads better. He now attempts to spell words on his own without actually saying “ oh! It’s hard! I can’t spell!” As a parent, I’m very pleased to see him learn and grow and becoming more confident.

Our son has been struggling to read for the last couple of years, and we realized that we needed additional support. He just would not read with us at home. He likes going to Sylvan, and he seems to have made good progress.
My grandson is in a small group setting where he can get that one on one experience.

Sylvan has been great so far! My son has been attending for about a month and I have definitely seen improvement in his homework skills at home along with confidence and knowledge with what he’s working on. Most importantly he loves going which is the best knowing he’s happy, having fun learning at Sylvan too!

Sylvan of Piedmont is our go-to place when our son needed extra help in writing but it is also the go-to place for him to advance in learning further when his school could not provide advanced learning! I loved that they offered initial assessments to personalize the kid's learning plan and that they also offer progress reports periodically. For our ADHD kid, the teachers at Sylvan not only can retain his attention and redirect his focus, but he also kept asking us to go back! It's a fun place for our kid, definitely recommend it!
