The building overall remains warm. The locker rooms many times in the am are humid and warm.

I really enjoy the yoga/pilates, stretch and tai chi classes. The instructors are compassionate and helpful in reminding me to pay attention to what my body is feeling during each pose.

The Y is a great place to work out and meet new friends!

Professional working staff, greet facility.

Variety of classes and times offered. Early hours for morning people and open til 7 or 10 pm for those who prefer or work schedules won't permit earlier attendance.

Open on holidays, at least for abbreviated hours. Many do not travel on holidays, the Y is part of their daily routine, and some employees welcome the extra hours

I like knowing that I have someplace to go where I can still be physically active when the weather isn't cooperating with working outside in my yard and gardens. And having access to all the different swimming pools is wonderful.

I love the water exercise classes on Tuesday and Thursday. I would like to see Carol continue as an instructor.

I like the facilities at the West Chester Y! The locker rooms are spacious and clean. The lap pool is also kept clean and has more lanes than the other Y's in the area. The indoor track and exercise rooms are bright and airy. I also like the exercise programs and the friendly and helpful staff at the West Chester Y. There is only one improvement that I would suggest: PLEASE ADD A SAUNA.

Good organisation and keeping the kid entertained. One thing to add that would be nice is sharing pict of the kids to parents...

Ms Rachel was really good in providing my kid the best training. I really found her to be too good swim teacher.

My children and I absolutely love the Y!!! It is a wonderful place and they treat you like family there and with respect!

The pool access and though I haven't used it yet the child care options.

Matt was the best instructor EVER! My daughter was the only one to sign up for the class. instead of canceling he continued to teach her because my son was in a class at the same time. He was able to greatly improve her swimming to the point the she would swim a whole pool lap at 5. Matt would get excited about her progress and that made my daughter feel like a super star. I cant say enough amazing things about Matt.

The facility is very clean and well-designed.

I also use the UMLY facility. They have manual paper towel dispensers there that are a problem. They are constantly jamming. Your dispensers are electric and work much better.

At UMLY, in the cardio center, we asked for years for sun screening for the large windows in the cardio center. At certain times of the morning when on a treadmill or EFX, the sun is blinding. They have the screening downstairs in the reception area. All requests for sun screening for those cardio center windows have been ignored over the years, so we don't even bother to request anymore.

If any of the exercise machines in West Chester are not working correctly, there is a note on the machine. At UMLY, we go for weeks with TV's not working on specific treadmills, yet there is never a note put on the treadmill with the faulty TV reception.
