The learning curve at the Y is incredible. I had my kids in Goldfish for 3 years and neither of them could swim. After 2 months is able to swim independently .

I only use the exercise machine gym. Last year I chose to use the eliptical machines at the West Chester Y because the UMLY machines were older. Have the UMLY machines been replaced with newer ones?

Umly really cares about the needs of its members. It has programs spanning all ages…babies thru seniors.

The front staff is cheery and accommodating, the instructors A+, and the facility is clean and comfortable.

I love the grounds and it’s mission…..Where else can you find live sheep, goats, chickens, roosters etc mixed in with playgrounds and courts! Umly teaches the importance of caring about your body, mind and spirit, people and our planet…what more could you want!

It works. They do what they say they will do.

EXCELLENT.....especially for kids !

Plenty of variety, great facilities, close to home.

I love the friendly instructors and the wide variety of activities for seniors! I haven't felt or been so fit in years. Joining the Y in January was a game changer for me.

The tennis program is very good, although the website needs a little more work. It needs to be easier to reserve courts and sign up for clinics.

Pool but hope more pool hour choices will be added.

Gym on 4rd floor is now more geared to body building (not for me) so I would prefer more machines for body toning.

I am a senior and really appreciate all the programs (especially group exercise programs). The instructors (especially Tina Eldridge) are friendly, energetic, and have great classes.

I appreciate the variety of programs available for me, a senior. But most of all, it's the instructors who make the difference. They are knowledgeable, helpful and give positive feedback to the people in the classes.
The facility itself is first class and well maintained.

So far I've only used the outdoor Pickleball facilities, which was my motivation for joining. The courts are beautifully maintained and the program is well organized.
Also, all of the staff have been very welcoming and helpful.

After getting the full tour, I can see this is an amazing facility! I love the workout room and large sauna. The pools are great and I can't wait to get on the tennis courts.

Overall good variety.

Our family has enjoyed the programs and activities at UMLY for many years. We feel our children have grown as good citizens and have benefitted from mentors in their programs. The friends they've made and the life lessons they've learned have served them well. We are so thankful for the opportunities the Y has provided our family and will continue to give back as mentors and volunteers in Y activities and programs for years to come.
