Really enjoy the Y........friendly people and willing to help anyway they can
I like the sense of community and the private family bathrooms.
Wide variety of classes and times they are offered, up to date equipment in good repair, clean and friendly atmosphere.
Please please please add a regular yin yoga class to the schedule. You have many "yang" classes with gentle and hatha but need to balance the offerings with a yin class.

I just joined the Y and so far I love it. I needed to get back in shape. I also am recovering from an achilleas tendon injury and my dr. said no running. He suggested swimming. I grew up swimming and this thought sparked my renewed interest to swim. My parents helped to pay for my membership. I did the full year all at once. I have gone to both the Kennett Y my main one but am also going to the Coatesville one. I live closer to. I have also started in the gym part. Treadmill, bikes etc. Thanks.

It's inexpensive. Gives me some "me" time. Great classes and instructors. Made many friends.
Staff, class leaders, and other members are all friendly and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is rooting for each other's health and wellbeing. I've also loved that the programs have engaged my kids.

I love the people at the Kennett YMCA. It is a very warm, inviting environment with a great mix of people. If you want a general sense of what the Kennett Community is about, then the Y is a good place to get that sense. You will find most people wanting to just sit and talk after a work out by the coffee. Something you don't see at a lot of gyms.
