School of Rock had been a wonderful experience for our daughter. The staff and her music intructor, Ed S., have been amazing in improving her ability and giving her the opportunity to express herself on stage in front of an audience in many venues. The care fore safety is wonderful, too! Being afforded the opportunity to play at Rock Hall, Beachland, and locally etc. priceless. #thisisnotyjustourlivingroomsoappreciative.

I love seeing my child’s smile after a lesson. He really enjoys learning to use his instrument, vocals. He never complains about going to voice lessons or Band practice like he did with sports. Seeing how much he has learned and grown in this past year, I know the teachers at School of Rock are a major factor.

The Educational aspect of School of Rock within individual instrumental/vocal lessons is engaging and effective for young students. The Teachers are committed, progressive and fun. The opportunities for youngsters to increase their skill and discipline working with other musicians is prevalent in the “School House Effect” and Performance Group” band lessons. There isn’t anything like School of Rock anywhere.
It gives kids the opportunity to play styles of music they wouldn't learn or get to play elsewhere.

I appreciate that my daughter was encouraged to pursue her specific musical interests. She loves going to School of Rock because she can choose the songs she works on and use the instrument she prefers. We see substantial progress every week! She has fun and learned much in summer camp as well.
I like how the instructors at the School of Rock take proper precautions in regard to the pandemic, I like how my instructor in particular makes sure we are always on the same page and that I understand what we are working on, it's not just out of a book, and the book or books are more supplemental. Everything here is very straightforward and hands on, but you definitely want to take notes. Here at the School of Rock you control how far you go and the instructors are right there to help you along EVERY step of the way with their experience and expertise. I have made so much progress in the past 17 months as a drummer and I look forward to see how proficient I will be in the next 17 months.

The teaching staff is great. The school has worked really hard to keep our kids safe and still learning during the pandemic. It's not cheap but it's worth it!
The teachers are great with each individual child. Learning how they learn and applying that to the way they interact with the kids.
My son has taken private drum lessons and has participated in a summer camp at SOR. He really enjoys it! He has learned how to play different styles of rock music. It has been great listening to him improve his skills!

We have had a great experience with my son’s drum instructor, Jeff. In addition to being extremely talented and knowledgeable, he is an amazing teacher. He is patient and kind, and takes the time to help his students build confidence through positivity and warm recognition of their efforts. At just a couple of months in, Jeff has already had a major impact on my son and has helped him discover a love for music.
