Sophia is awesome! She pushes the right buttons and speaks and illustrates in a manner I can relate to. Devin is ultra-talented musically and usually has good ideas for performing for our band songs.
The individualized lessons are designed for real-life learning. Not only does the instructor focus on the performance pieces, but also has guided lessons at my daughter's request for her school band tryout! These amazingly talented instructors communicate well with each other so in case of an instructor absence, there is no learning lost. We have appreciated the professionalism of the instructors and also the enjoyment they bring to every lesson.
School of Rock has been amazing for my son. He not only learned to play guitar his confidence grew with each and every lesson and show. My only regret is not signing him up earlier.

I enjoy that School of Rock allows the younger kids a chance to try out different instruments who may be unsure what it is they want to play. The entire staff is also very welcoming. The second you walk in you feel like part of a family where the door is always open. It has been a great learning opportunity for my daughter while allowing her to express herself through music.
I love the grad (adult) school program!! It’s truly awesome. I started out playing chords on an acoustic guitar and now I’m playing some leads on a fender Strat. Sooo FUN!! Great group of people too! Kind and talented!! I would recommend the SOR grad program to everyone!
The instructors are awesome. And love that you offer a private lesson and a band group for them to be able to go out to local businesses to play at!
All of the programs provide music instruction for all ages and abilities.! All of the staff are very knowledgeable and understanding of all of the children^s musical needs. I highly recommend the School of Rock!!
School of Rock has been a part of our lives for the past 9 years and we love absolutely everything about it! My son started as a first grader and is now thriving in this supportive and challenging musical environment. The instructors are well equipped to work with kids and to meet them where they are in the learning process. The feedback given to both the students and the parents is positive while setting high expectations.
The performance program has been my son's favorite part of the school- he performs in at least one show every quarter! Learning how to play the instrument is one thing, but also learning stage set up, tear down, stage presence and how to work as a group in a band setting is invaluable and something you don't get with a straight lessons only school.
My son has made lasting friendships and receives positive feedback from reliable and trustworthy adult role models. He loves School of Rock!
The instructors overall are excellent. Scheduling is efficient. Communication is great. Facilities and equipment are good.
The venues for live performances are comfortable and provide an excellent showcase for the students. Events stay on-time and are very organized.

Great teachers, friendly atmosphere, encouraging attitude amongst all people at the school from staff to parents and students. Working towards a goal with a deadline (the end of session performance) keeps everyone focused. Participation in the shows builds a completely different skill set from merely practicing an instrument in isolation, like developing poise and building cameraderie.
My son feels like he is among people who get him when he's at School of Rock. The teachers are organized and engaging. The whole program is run very smoothly and is also so much fun.

My son (age 8) loves School of Rock. As the parent, I love that he gets a weekly private guitar lesson to help him learn his instrument. Even more, I love the camaraderie of the band and the confidence being in the band builds. I am also grateful for School of Rock for being so inclusive, providing learning opportunities on different topics, standing up against bullying, etc. We have had a great experience at SOR!

What a unique way to learn your instrument.Wish this was avail in the 70s.when I was comming up.My son takes lessons here.this is his second series and I can hear his skill increase by the day.Perfect way to teach new skills,new songs and how to play with a band.Could not be happier and my son age 15 absolutely loves it

I like how you combine lessons with band performances. I like how we get a feedback after each lesson via email from the teacher. I like how friendly, receptive to our needs and flexible the staff is. I like how student’s interests are taken into consideration in choosing his repertoire. And my son’s teacher, Julian, is absolutely awesome. Overall, the best music school my son has ever gone to.
We just started with SoR; but we are HIGHLY impressed with their program. It was the best "next step" in our son's guitar journey and we couldn't be more excited. We would definitely recommend SoR in Strongsville to anyone looking to further their musical talents.
The structure is perfect for learning how to perform in a real band. The musicians are top notch and the venues are perfect for performing.
