Enthisasitic teachers who cate about making an excellent music and band exoerience for the kids. I was very impressed with the first concert u saw for the beginning students. They had a blast and so did the audience.
1) the people make all the difference. They are encouraging and they make learning an instrument fun.
2) we have a “hand me” down drum set for my daughter. It didn’t sound right and I am not knowledgeable about music or instruments. We took pieces of the set to school of rock. My daughter and I were given a lesson on the parts of the drum and we tuned the drum together. I wasn’t looked down upon because we have a beginner drum set. They understood and helped me to get this set working the best we could.
3). Whenever my daughter is done with a lesson, she seem energized. She loves the classes and learning.
I am so happy we found this new outlet for my daughter.
4). I told my daughter, that I was never this cool when I was her age. She plays hockey and is now learning the drums. How badass is that?
Sara has had a great experience at SoR Strongsville. She has a wonderful relationship with her instructor, Donald and has had many positive experiences with the various show directors she has had, particularly Ed.
She always feels motivated to practice and learn more. Bass has been the one instrument (besides voice) that she has been consistent with.
We have always been well pleased with her progress, with our interactions with management staff, and the shows she has performed in.
We are going into Sara’s senior year of high school, which means we’re going into our final year at SoR too — I know she will miss it, and so will we.

This program met my daughter where she was at - musically, personally and socially. My daughter struggles with emotions and there was no pretense given at SoR - just show up. The instructors are amazing, the atmosphere is overwhelmingly welcoming and the whole place is run with love. I cannot say enough positive things about SoR. I truly think it helped save my daughter from some very dark things she was going through. Right time, right place, sure. But she is THRIVING in other parts of her life after realizing she can be her authentic self at SoR and the carryover is magical. Thank you.
