The teachers are very good. Mike actually got my 6 year old into exploring the keys and understanding the sounds that each one of them make. She is attempting to create her own rhythm in just 4 classes.
We had an incredible experience the minute we walked through the door. The manager and staff were extremely personable. Our 8 year old grandson had a great time on his 1st lesson and is very excited about getting involved with a group to perform in a concert.

This program has been wonderful for my daughter. She has really grown up there over the past 4 years and is no longer the least bit shy or reserved. She is willing and able to get out there and do things she is afraid of which will serve her well in the future. It's a great confidence booster for kids of all ages. I recommend it to everyone.

Very friendly staff, laid back atmosphere. Learning is made fun and at the student's pace! Kids are treated like they matter. Up until my daughter started attending School of Rock she felt like she was different, like she just had a disconnect with her school peers. She has a lot of friends but was missing something. She found it here! The students all want to be there they enjoy each others company and Dave makes it fun! The only reason it wasn't rated at ten is the cost is high for us. We travel a distance to get there and the cost is a bit high for the standard middle class family with more than one child but the experience is more than worth the cost. My daughter thrives and so looks forward to her rehearsal time and lessons every week! She has come out of her shell and has made friends that extend beyond just rehearsal now. Thank you Dave and staff and students!!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE School of Rock Albany!!! The staff and other kids are wonderful. Jayden has gained so much confidence since becoming a member of the performance team. He has tried things he never thought he would try. It has proven to be one of the best things we have done for our son.

My daughter loves learning about music and different bands. Through the program she gets to experience exposure to different instruments and playing different "positions" on the team. It has really helped her self-confidence and has made her middle school experience less awkward. Dave and his team are really encouraging and can speak the kids' language in a way that parents just can't.
The smile on my grandson's face when he is in his drum lesson is the best feedback.
