Customer Testimonials
Literally everything
I love the care all the teachers have for their students. I feel that Megan and Shane see the students as more than just students, they become like family.
I really like all of the support we get from our sponsors, reps, friends, TJ and Joe.
They REALLY take the time to help us out and make us better and they do it very patiently and with great enthusiasm! it's quite a special feeling.
Love the staff, such a warm, inviting and encouraging environment :)
My Son loves how the instructors listen to his input and taylor his classes toward his interest. He has been able to learn and grow in his favorite genre. Many private lessons force students to learn subjects they have little to no interest in. When that is the case, many lose interest in the instrument that had a passion for. At School of Rock they get to learn how to play their favorite type of music and even music by their favorite artists.
Our son loves the lessons!
I like the performance-based programs. The kids get a real life experience of performing in front of a crowd. They also learn how to work together in a group.
The teacher is engaging. My son has fun learning.
Amazing interactive and engaging sessions. Never thought learning Guitar would be such an amazing fun. I love how beautifully theory and practical lessons are intertwined and taught with superb level of enthusiasm. Definitely love to keep on continuing and improving my Guitar Skills.
You all have done everything possible to get us through these lockdowns, and kept us engaged. Joe and TJ have been exemplary in their flexibility and made the last 10 weeks or so fun. I'm really happy with the program as I have been for the past few years. School of Rock rocks!
We love everything about the programs but specifically how great the teachers are and that remote lessons are available to those concerned about covid-19.
Love the atmosphere and great vibe you get!!
Staff are so welcoming and seem to care about the students.
Very inclusive. You provide a great space for kids to meet other musicians.
My name is Chris Reese and I have been a student at the Gilbert School of Rock for 1 1/2 years. I would like to give a shout out to Brie Ritter, Meghan, Shane, and Sydney. They provide such an incredible atmosphere filled with amazing musical souls...it’s the place where everyone gets to chase dreams🤘🏻

One on one instruction song based is much more effective way to learn than practicing scales
Our daughter never has to be told to practice. Never has to be reminded about lessons or performance practices. She is highly motivated by the staff and other students. Her skills are rapidly surpassing mine and I’ve played for a zillion years!
We love that you feed our child's passion by teaching him music he enjoys. We love the fact that SOR is a safe space, and that our kids - who may not feel understood in school - can come to SOR and feel like it is their people, their community, and that they are celebrated for their individuality.
We also LOOOOOVE our the teachers and the Baskervilles!
My son is learning how to play guitar in a super positive environment while having a lot of fun. It’s been a great experience for him.
Great team of instructors and staff!

I’m really pleased with how well you’ve adapted to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. The remote lessons have been fantastic, and you’ve done a great job finding solutions for rehearsal groups. Communication is awesome as always. My son has learned so much in one year...you’ve blown past my expectations.
They are wonderful programs and my son has really enjoyed it !
We feel incredibly fortunate to have Sarah as an instructor for our daughter. She's knowledgable, patient, flexible, and has built a solid relationship with Jasmine.
Also, Michelle has been a wonderful ambassador. I love knowing when I reach out to her, she'll respond.
Appreciate the effort to continually offer "more".
Despite the inconvenience the current circumstances has caused with School of Rock operations we are pleased with all aspects of the business.
I appreciate all the efforts made to continue this program remotely. It is so important for our kids to stay connected to the things they love right now.
I love the performance programs. Kids not only get a one on one lesson they also get to play a variety of music with peers in a band setting.
Where do I start??? The staff (Hi, Michelle!) is amazing, so kind and accommodating with all of our constant scheduling changes in the craziness of managing sports and school activities. The teachers are AMAZING. They are hip, relevant and cool, but also convey a legitimacy to to the music that makes my kids take it seriously without stressing them out. The vibe is accepting and fun. At the School of Rock, unlike most other areas of life, my kids are free to express themselves without judgment or ridicule... as long as you’re down to rock, you are accepted at SOR. Thank you School of Rock!
All staff cares about the kids and encourages them to perform at their best! My son loves it!
Wow! The way they have changed on a dime in the face of the pandemic thank you .
Everything! The instructors- all so knowledgeable, caring, motivating and inspiring to young musicians. There is always a challenge and students are given just the right amount of support to build their confidence and skills. The school directors know all of the kids and are so respectful to everyone. It is a community for sure!
The staff, other members, the confidence it gives the individual students, and pride! It’s a place to go and share your passion with others that have the same interests. ❤️
