Teachers are passionate about music and their instruments. They are laid back and current so relate well with young students. My son has learned through School of Rock to love classic rock and several different genres of music.
School of Rock allows my son to have the experience I wish I had as a kid, but wasn’t available at the time. The group rehearsals provide him with a valuable experience playing with other musicians his age, and I can tell the teachers love what they do, how could they not!
As a professional music educator of 27 years, I understand the complexity of not only learning repertoire, but then making it your own. School of Rock students are taught to not only perform music with attention to technical detail but also perform with artistic expression from the heart. The students at School of Rock learn to take ownership of their performances and truly make the music come alive! I’m so glad my son is a part of this program. My Son loves the one on one instruction with a guitarist who performs. When you are a budding musician, it is helpful to learn from experienced individuals in the industry. Nick is off the charts at helping my Son gain confidence in his ability to play well. He has grown by leaps and bounds as a performer thanks to Nick at School of Rock.

The staff is engaging and motivating to the students who are trying out an instrument for the first time. They are compassionate, patient, and inviting. The program allows for many opportunities depending on a students desire and ability.
In addition, their COVID -19 response and safety plan has been excellent. Allowing our kids to do something they live and enjoy!
Kids practice because they get to play with peers in a group setting just like a band.
