Great people, talented and knowledgeable directors (TJ and Joe), who are genuinely personable and fun to work with. Their flexibility to adapt the adult performance program was outstanding. Learning some theory as well as techniques to make us better musicians.
The performance program not only brings kids together but the kids want to practice so they sound great playing with the new friends they have created. School of Rock brings out confidence in kids and there simply is no bullying. Everyone is accepting and supportive of each other.

Teachers are everything. Both teachers Lailah had had have been wonderful. Chris is so great with her- clearly loves what he does!
We love how the teachers make the experience how you want it. Nick asks my Son questions about the music he is interested in, and then he tailors the lesson toward his interest. It is nice for him to be taught in the genre of his choice. Other places want to have students learn and practice music that they have no interest in. School of Rock is not like that at all. A student here will enjoy the curriculum, no matter if they want to play Classic Rock, Country, Blues, Punk, Grunge, Pop, or any combination of crossover music. We would recommend to anyone thinking about it to stop in and be shown around. You will not find a boring studio, this place is designed and decorated for budding musicians with the input and help of students, teachers and staff alike. You also have the option of on site, in person instruction or online virtual one on one lessons. School of Rock will be exactly what the student wants it to be.

SOR has done wonders for my shy ☺️ and quite daughter. She has learned so much over the years more than what her own Jazz Band at school has taught. She has been able to experience all forms of music and appreciate it. The staff is also so caring and always putting the kids first.
Michele,Shane and all the SoR staff have been transparent, innovative and supportive through the whole Covid pandemic. No easy task keeping kids engaged virtually and making it possible for our kids to safely participate in live shows . Thank you for putting in the time, hard work and energy to make SoR safe, and fun for our kids.
Great instructors and always helpful staff. My boys love their guitar lessons and Chris is a talented, supportive and encouraging teacher.

Good variety. Your program gives kids a chance to work with others and perform. GREAT for the wanna be rockers or just to have fun and learn the ins and outside of playing in a group.
My daughter (9) takes drum lessons with Jarrod who is amazing. She really enjoys coming to lessons every week. Michelle has done a great job working with us. Everyone is really friendly and helpful!

How the kids perform together so they don’t fight practice. They want to do well for the group.
Being involved in SOR has been great. It has given me a chance to perform in front of a crowd and be a part of a band, like when i was younger.
The directors of the adult program are great but they are young. Sometimes it seems as if they are intimidated by some of the participants. Oftentimes, they do not give honest criticism when it is warranted and let things work themselves out as opposed to leading and proactively making necessary changes to parts, cast members on songs, arrangements, etc.
Other than that, it has been a great experience.

Student led learning
The staff is engaging and motivating to the students who are trying out an instrument for the first time. They are compassionate, patient, and inviting. The program allows for many opportunities depending on a students desire and ability.
In addition, their COVID -19 response and safety plan has been excellent. Allowing our kids to do something they live and enjoy!
