I've already recommended CorePower Yoga to friends and coworkers! Yesterday was my first class. I took Core Power Yoga 2 with Charly. She was fantastic and made me very comfortable coming for the first time. She even took time to meet with me after class and answer my many questions. I can't wait go back again today for class.
The classes are structured nice, wooden floors (which is rare to find) and great facilities and shower rooms with complementary toiletries.
The staff are SO kind and SO talented and SO wonderful. From the moment your walk in the door, to the moment you leave, every single person is upbeat and ready to answer any questions, offers support with poses and is just all around awesome. I am SO happy to have found such great and supportive community of yogis!
The venue is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The instructor, Kate, was calm, friendly and very helpful to me as I didn't know much about yoga. I look forward to coming to many more classes.

Core power has made me enjoy yoga. I love the range of classes from a relaxed candle light Hot Power Fusion to the high energy core power yoga.

Great class and environment
I love Sculpt and HPF! My only frustrations are 1) the inconsistency of the teachers 2) the inconsistency of temperature in the room and 3) the delay, most recently, that we've been experiencing to get into the room for class. Yesterday we weren't let into the studio until 11:02am for a class that was supposed to start at 11. I had been waiting since 10:40.

Service is great, classes are wonderful and teachers are competent.
Always a challenge and the staff are very supportive and encouraging! I have noticed improvements in my body and strength which I am so thankful for! My only two minor complaints are that in some classes the music can be so loud that you cannot hear the instructor. My other concern is that most instructors, with the exception of Sandy, Chris and Jan, don't usually correct people in poses. I feel a lot of times a quick demonstration could be helpful instead of spying on your neighbor who may not be doing it correctly either but also to prevent potential injuries. Plus it usually makes it more challenging when you're doing it correctly!!

I was introduced to CPY a few years ago when visiting a friend in Austin, TX. My friend is awesome and is a dedicated Yogi, so any studio she practices at must be amazing. She and I did a Sculpt class together at CPY Austin (5th St)and it kicked my butt. But it was awesome! After I returned from that visit I was pleased to see they were building a CPY in Glover Park. Thus began my personal journey practicing yoga to supplement my marathon and ultra marathon training. What I like about CPY is that the environment is not at all intimidating and the instructors are kind and friendly. There is a class for every level yogi which makes it a great way to learn yoga and advance your practice.
