I love the diversity of classes offered. I have done amazing classes like paddle board yoga, pilates, and hot yoga. You don’t get a variety like this just anywhere. The staff always caters to the patron appropriately and effectively. Keep it up!
Nice and clean
Clean and nice facilities.
Really friendly and fun place to be. We love taking our kids to the pool. They love that they can get food and drinks for themselves there. It seems like there is an effort to constantly be improving the facilities. I feel like this is how a community center should be.
Two points I wish were improved: The hours for the kids center isn't online so sometimes we show up and it's closed. The second point is that the women's showers smell like mold or mildew, maybe the drains could be treated once a week or something to reduce the smell.
I use the fitness center mostly and some yoga classes. I love that it’s a relaxed atmosphere. The fitness center has most of the equipment that I want.

Nice homey feeling environment. Nothing too outrageous. Gym is always updating as they go. Friendly people/staff that will either assist you with a spot, give tips, or even encourage you. Multiple classes and courses you can sign up for at a great price. The one and only true “NO JUDGEMENT” gym in Alaska. Membership price is fair and they definitely won’t charge you with hidden fees unlike the other competitors. Overall… this gym will fit all your needs, no matter what your goal is. Clean, friendly staff
The facility has just about everything I would need from a gym as far as equipment goes and free weights (still waiting for those 65lb dumbbells to match though). Other products I enjoy being accessible is the smoothie bar and the energy drink selections that are made available for members.
Having the gym open again was the whole experience!
Exercise Floor is super clean and rules regarding cell phone use are pretty well enforced.
Staff, programming, and facilities.
Stacy and Amy are a great help. Jen is always smiling and makes me feel welcome. The vibe and everyone especially the employees are of great support.
I love my classes. The covid safety is fantastic.

We love the J! It is providing us with everything we need at a very reasonable cost. The only room for improvement that we have seen are 2 things:
1.) The pool restrooms are not clean. I was stunned based on the cleanliness of the J as a whole. We have noted a lack of appropriate supplies ie, toilet paper
2.) The deck chairs at the pool are very uncomfortable and many are broken. if you are strictly trying to appeal to children I don't think it matters however for myself and my husband we have to bring our yoga mats to place under our towels in order to tolerate them.
3.) I hate to complain because as for the fitness center.....we love it.
