What do you like about our workout?

I love the variety and efficiency of OTF workouts. With a different focus every day, I never get bored and love that it only takes 60 minutes to complete a full body workout plus cardio. The Westlake Village studio in particular is one of the best I have visited - the atmosphere is welcoming, the coaches are fantastic and the system for assigning treads / rowers keeps things very organized.

What do you like about our workout?

I like the group workout aspect, HIIT/Interval training, the workouts are dynamic and always interesting. OTF is highly motivating and all of the trainers/instructors have been excellent.

Visiting from the San Francisco Bay area the team at orange fitness downtown LA made me feel welcome and were very helpful in getting me signed up to use the studio during my stay.

The instructor Corine was the reason the class was so good. She gave clear and concise instructions, displayed quality examples of good form on the weight exercises, and had an energetic and positive energy throughout the class. Thanks Corine.

Every workout is different, which makes coming to class exciting and fun! The coaches are incredible and take the time to get to know you and personalize movements for your body and needs.

The staff gave a great and clear introduction. The instructor was also proactive about coming over to teach how to use the equipment properly and give cues for upcoming portions of the workouts. I really appreciated that and enjoyed the class.

What do you like about our workout?

I like the workout itself and technology during class however it does not feel Omni-channel when using across locations. I joined a membership with the intent to attend studios all across LA due to my schedule and will be at my "home studio" very little. I am disappointed that I cannot see all of my classes across studios on one schedule in the app, I cannot easily join waitlists at other studios, I did not receive a performance recap after attending class in DTLA nor does it show up in my MTD & LTD recaps, and was asked to provide a different email address to get one. I also tried to purchase a monitor at Melrose yesterday but was not able to use a promo and was told to ask at my "home studio." I am hoping once I am in the system in all studios that I plan to attend this will become better otherwise that is a bummer. Everyone that works for you is nice, but the systematic flow should be better for a nationwide company.

I felt like I was REALLY pushing myself which was fantastic. Sometimes it was tricky to follow but I quickly figured it out and I think if I went consistently it would get easier and easier, so I don't see that as a negative at all. I loved the diversity and the screens that demonstrate the movements...SUPER helpful. Also love the individual space everyone has - so often I feel like uncomfortable working out because I don't want to be rude to someone and take their space, but with Orangetheory that's nearly impossible!
Instructors were fun and informative and I had a good time. Would be interested to see what the more targeted workouts are like since this was apparently full-body.

What do you like about our workout?

The instructors never let you settle. They push you but are also positive and encouraging. Additionally it feels like you have a DJ and a trainer at the same time. The music is amazing and keeps you moving. Example, once I was able to run at a 12 speed, they started asking me to increase my incline. They also are not afraid to walk over and ask someone to push their speed or try a little harder. But their approach isn’t intimidating, it’s motivating.

I attend another studio in Portsmouth NH as my home studio (bc I moved) but still visit OTFSM whenever I go back to LA for work. I miss the Samo studio soooo much!!!!!!

I would love for the LA trainers to come show the trainers in NH some of their techniques for elevating the class and bringing in great music. Please send them! ;)

What do you like about our workout?

Mixing up the weights/rowing portion is great. I love the 1 hour class and the 30 min of rowing/weights and 30 on tread. I completed my 3rd class today.

The teachers have been great with answering questions about weights because I'm terrible with form. They have all been awesome with supporting me and helping demonstrate modifications and/or posture.

The challenge I experienced today was on the last 30 min cardio portion. I'm a runner so I found it hard to stick with the teacher's prompts on pushing vs. returning to base pace. Depending on my body rhythm, I sometimes like to push at 7.0 and then slowly work my way back down to 3.5 or 4 for 1 minute and then push back up to 6 - 6.5 and then 7. This has been a rhythm for me for decades. I used to run streets and then ended up on treads a few years ago.

My timing was off of the teacher's instruction today. She would tell us to go to base pace and I was in the zone where I wanted to push. I like hearing the teacher's motivation..it's great but I also found that my focus and rhythm was interrupted a few too many times.

I need to have space to push myself based on my own body rhythm and intuition. I get super focused and intense in the cardio zone. I wasn't ready to slow down on one part of the queue and I feel I lost some motivation due to interruptions.

No harm. I'll try next time to stay with the teacher but I need to know that it's ok to go at my pace, too, when I feel it's necessary. I know my body better than anyone.
