What do you like about our workout?

I love that they're different every day, and that they challenge me in every way. I love when the coaches identify which muscles we are working on the floor because I'm a coach as well and like having muscles to focus on while I'm killing myself. I love the different personalities of the coaches...and of course, I love the music that Loizos and Richie and Mauricio play! They're the best at putting together playlists that keep me on the treadmill instead of running away! ;)

From the moment I walked in, I liked the vibe of the studio/gym. Sarah was awesome in introducing me what I need to know and was just pleasant and welcoming. The class was awesome. I was looked after and given ways to modify the workout due to my injuries.
Rusty played great music and I loved his humor. Altogether, great gym and experience. I will be back!!

I love coming to OTF Torrance! I have been to other OTFs in different states and this place is a lot more personalized and homey. You walk in the door and they know your name. The coaches are so fun and helpful! Stefan, Kaily and Suzy are always pushing to get the best out of you and to give you the confidence to push yourself. Joining this studio has been one of the best decisions I have made!!!

What do you like about our workout?

Great uplifting and helpful coaches, friendly staff who remember you and call you by your first name, and generally friendly atmosphere of other members.

I especially enjoy the 90 minute workout, because the additional 30 minutes pushes you to break down that physical and mental wall that sets in at the 60 minute mark. I go out of my way and cancel other plans for the 90 minute workout, and would do them weekly if they were available.

The workout is challenging and different every single time! I’ve never gone to class and said “ah that was easy!” Every day I’m challenged to improve, to get faster and stronger. It’s been a motivational driving force in my life for a strong year and half. I ABSOLUTELY Love Orangetheory!

Good Overall. I travel a lot for work and use other gyms around the country... probably around the country.

Good-

Get class size right... 3G’s in January 2G’s in June and July

Great spacing of classes.. love the 5am class and love the 7:35pm class

Front desk friendly. Coaches overall are good.

Negative:

Compared to other Orangetheory locations, Arizona, Colorado, Washington state, does not seem like a sense of community.

Two of the main front office staff have left after 2 years.... Coaches come and go....

Have never seen the owner of the Torrance location at Torrance or a Representitive of the owner.... Redondo Beach/ LA group is around all the time as has positive social media accounts.

Some of the teachers don’t help out with the weight lifting or rowing. Was in New York City for work and the teacher with 36 people in the class. Coach in New York City told me I was rowing wrong and taught me proper form. Coach in Denver said I was doing squat jacks wrong. I have been a member in Torrance for 2 years and very few teachers work on Form... Joe and Steffan are good.

I was at the Scottsdale Camelback location on a Tuesday at noon... A coach had his 2 year anniversary and all of the other coaches and staff were celebrating.... that would never happen in Torrance.

What do you like about our workout?

Having a coach push you during a workout is really motivating. Also doing a group class is a good motivation to keep working hard. I love that you can get a full body workout in one hour!
