I came into Fleet Feet to buy new running shoes and was really impressed with how I was greeted and the fitting process. They have a scanning machine that is designed to give precise measurements of both feet, arch height, and pressure points. They also have a pad that you walk across that shows your alignments. All this information was explained and used to present the shoes that most likely would fit best for me. Tyler was the sales person that waited on my and he did a great job. He had me try on different shoes of course, but also put different brands on one foot to let me feel the difference between the two. A very detailed fitting. In the end, I found the perfect fit and i'm super happy with my purchase. I highly recommend Fleet Feet!

I have been suffering with metatarsalgia and went to the store in hopes of finding shoes that would provide relief of my pain.

Then he suggested the paradigm 6 Altra. This pair felt the best and I love them! I was able to walk immediately pain free in them. I have been wearing them for two days and so far they are
working very well for me.

The store in Poughkeepsie is a negative experience. All sorts of restrictions about returns, try-ons, etc. The owner has gone to great lengths to make her life easier by placing obnoxious restrictions on many aspects of the customer experience. She openly whines and complains about how hard she works and how difficult some customers make her life. She doesn't mind taking their money, however. I will NEVER shop there.
