I was disappointed to realise that I was not able to submit a Medibank claim immediately due to Joel not yet having his provider number. If I had known this, I would not have booked a massage as I did not expect to be out of pocket for the whole amount (I have previously claimed any rebates at the time of paying).
While Joel was professional and courteous, the massage unfortunately did not meet my requirements. This was predominantly my fault, as I should have specified when booking that I wanted someone experienced in long distance running.

Pregnancy cushions so a pregnant client can lie on their stomach or massage on a fit ball as an alternative. Staff trained on what is and is not comfortable when pregnant eg. Lying on back is bad.
Delilah really listened to my problems and explained what was wrong. She was very attentive and worked magic with her hands. She is a fantastic therapist!
I was in a lot of pain at the time I called to book in for a massage. I wanted somewhere close to home so location was about the extent of my research and was just hoping to gain some immediate pain relief.
The massage itself and the discussion around my pain was great and very helpful, but I was disappointed that when I went online at a later date to book for another massage I saw that first time appointments usually receive 20 minutes free and a discounted rate for time extensions. I was not offered this over the phone when making my appointment or when it came to pay for my massage.
In my view, if you are going to have an offer available it should be offered whether asked or not. If I didn't know about it and was offered it anyway, I would've got a sense of appreciation rather than feeling ripped off.

I missed my appointment. I lost the full amount. It should only be a percentage that you loose. This percentage would be to cover the cost of the massage therapists travel. Loosing the full amount might be the norm in this industry if you miss an appointment, however this experience has made me sick in the stomach, as we all work extremely hard for our money. Based on this experience, I will be using my spiky foam massage roller, instead of getting a massage from muscle fix. I do love massage fix as a business because it is really professional and it is close to my residence in South Yarra.
