Family friendly! Some other gyms in the area are not inclusive for middle age children. The Y has a great deal to offer for all ages!

The staff and members are helpful and positive. The YMCA is a valuable resource for our community and promotes healthy lifestyles and Christian values. We like child watch, swimming classes, summer camp, and other programs for the family. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

What do you like about your membership?

I enjoy the large selection of workout equipment. A lot of places don't have half of what you offer. The stair climbers, the piece for doing chin-ups, the glute machine, etc. etc. You are constantly updating and bringing in the latest equipment while maintaining the old. There are a lot of older members who are comfortable with "old school" workouts and really like that. I also like your inclusive atmosphere, old, young, ethnicities, and especially all the opportunities for individuals with disabilities. I love the track for running, and the pool for swimming. Lots of cardio options. It's a great place to get a super workout.

I like that I can go to either the downtown West Chester YMCA or the one on airport road depending on my schedule. Staff is always friendly and helpful and best of all my membership cost is reduced based on my income. I love the YMCA and I'm very happy I am a member again!!

I enjoy the classes most of all, however, it is great to be able to go at any time and work on bike, elliptical, treadmill, etc.

What do you like about your membership?

I am very happy with my Y membership. I am a member of the Kennett Y and have attended there for about a year and a half. I am currently attending the Livestrong program at the West Chester Y and am enjoying both the program and a "new" (for me) Y. The WC Y is quite far from my home and for that reason alone, I will continue to attend the Kennett Y. I am glad to have the opportunity to experience a different Y and may try the Jennersville location also. I would encourage anyone to join the Y in general and to attend the one closest to their home.

What do you like about your membership?

I like that their are trainer to help people learn to use the equipment. The staff is friendly and very helpful and they do it with a smile
