I truly have a great connection with many of the teachers that work there and they ask me about how I am and they make a concerted effort to learn more about myself and my practice.

Incredible instructors, intense classes, late classes!

The only thing that bums me out about this place is a lot of times the instructors won’t ask people to make room for newcomers in cases of packed classes. A lot of times your clients won’t make room automatically, and I’d hate for anyone to feel unwelcome/awkward about asking people to scoot over. If teacher’s monitored this it would definitely feel like your business values inclusion, and it would make it less uncomfortable to walk into an already packed class. Classes seem to be overpacked. I left one class once 20 minutes in because I was constantly dodging to avoid being kicked in the head (even when I asked others to make room for me.) I lost a good workout as well as a wasted class fee.

The staff at the Pentagon City, Virginia studio has made my yoga experience second to none. In just a short time, they have made me feel like part of a family and a team. The studio manager, Tommy Maselli, does an incredible job of making all the clients feel welcomed and special. Each and every visit to the studio elevates my attitude and enthusiasm. All of the instructors are motivated and well prepared and provide a first-class experience. In particular, two instructors stand out, for me, as the best overall fitness instructors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Taylor M. and Kelsey On. are always incredibly prepared, thoughtful about their routines, motivating, positive, and professional. They never fail to provide every client with a smile, extra assistance, and attention. They are intelligent, hard working, and extremely knowledgeable of anatomy and physiology. I am an Army officer with over 26 years of service and I can honestly say, with no reservations, that these two incredible instructors provide a fitness service at a quality level which provides health benefits above and beyond anything offered by top military instructors. I recommend the service that Tommy and his team at Pentagon City provide to each and every individual I know who is interested in maintaining or beginning a healthy lifestyle and needs a way to elevate their spirit and attitude.

Update 2/27/19:
With the passing of time comes, inevitably, change. The last couple of months have marked the departure of outstanding manager, Tommy, and an amazing instructor, Taylor. However, Tommy‘s departure made room for the arrival of a new manager, Eleni, who brings with her genuine excitement, an amazing personality, a desire to make the Pentagon City location the very best, and a general all-around wonderful vibe. Under her leadership the studio keeps getting better day by day. Additionally, with Taylor’s departure I have explored other instructors and have been fortunate to partake in classes taught by Julia T. I just can’t say enough about how amazing of an instructor and a person, in general, Julia is. She has amazing energy, spirit, motivation, and is such a kind soul. Together with the rest of the staff (Kelsey O, Sarah F, Monica St to name a few of the amazing instructors) there is no better place in the NCR to get your fitness on while calming the spirit.

The instructors are AMAZING.

I love how consistently hard the classes are. I know I'm gonna get a good sweat and feel amazing after.

The class is challenging and the instructor is helpful and calming. My only complaint is that the class always seems over capacity to the point where some people have to cram in between other members.

I took Core Power 2 which was my second time with the gym but a different location. I found this class to be rewarding because it provided enough of a challenge. I felt the strengthening of my core and body.

I love these yoga classes, they are great workouts and perfect for the cold winter days.

Really appreciate that they offer 75 minutes classes and the instructor was great and friendly

Rachel was great! She had lots of little form cues that were so helpful. She’s definitely one of the best yoga instructors I’ve ever had. I tend to only do yoga on my sore days or rest days, and fairly infrequently even then, but she makes me want to come back more often. I felt like I wasn’t just going through the motions but actually working toward something. Thank you, Rachel.
