My daughter has struggled with math for the last few years. Mathnasium is great because not only does she have her own schedule of curriculum, but she can also ask questions about things she is currently working on as well! After 6 months of consistent tutoring, I'm seeing a drastic increase in her daily understanding of math. I can't recommend mathnasium enough!

Vincent never pushes back when I tell him it's time to go to Mathnasium. He doesn't love math and has struggled with it (which is why we go) but he's really enjoying his time there and is excited to get his hands on/earn a bluetooth speaker. Everyone there is very friendly and clearly loves math. We love the flexibility and availability of scheduling - it's so easy to fit into our busy schedules.
My kids went from disliking Math, to now it's their favorite subject, all thanks to Mathnasium Decatur! This center, the director, and the staff have been incredibly flexible with our needs and schedule requests, which is tremendous when juggling several household members. My family has used Mathnasium to fill in gaps in my children's math instruction, provide additional practice in fundamental math concepts, remediate deficits created by the pandemic, and build our children's confidence in their math abilities. We have been so very pleased with all the teachers and administrators at Mathnasium of Decatur. We have seen substantial progress in our kids that has translated into increased MAP test scores, fewer tears over math homework, and an increased willingness to persevere with difficult math problems. We highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone searching for additional math help or tutoring!

Nice instructors, good availability of changing schedule around.
Wish the system would allow students to progress a little faster with more challenging/advanced problems, and a little less repetition.
Wish there Fridays as possible scheduling days and longer weekends for scheduling options.
Wish there was also a system that had fewer sessions for less monthly fee.
Our son is happy to be doing math with the kind and playful teachers at Mathnasium. The prizes in the cabinet are really good too.

Sam and his team are absolutely wonderful. The tutors are patient while also being sure to challenge and encourage our son.
My 11yo son had some bumpy virtual learning and pressure-filled school experiences during the pandemic which challenged his confidence. We tried Mathnasium after hearing some good things, and he lit up with the support he received at the Decatur location. Naturally, as a 5th grade sensitive kid wondering if he could ever again "do the math," we were all pleasantly surprised and really delighted with the relational connection (and math skills!) he received at Mathnasium. Kids need gentle instruction/connection and votes of confidence for executive functioning along with consistency and practice. We are grateful for the people and this experience.
Expanded weekend hours
Love Mathnasium, the folks that run things are super professional. They are always helpful and they make learning math fun. My son has thrived since going to Mathnasium and he has gone from not liking Math to loving Math. Thank you so much for all that you guys do for our Decatur community.
