3 of my 4 kids are enrolled at Mathnasium of Decatur. We are so pleased with the support our kids receive. All 3 have different needs - one is pure enrichment, completing math topics a full grade level above his current grade level; one needs additional support at his current grade level; and one is a combination support of content she hasn't fully mastered plus enrichment for areas where she can handle/needs additional enrichment.
Every instructor at Mathnasium of Decatur is super supportive and very positive with the kids. When my kids don't understand a concept, they try different ways to explain the topic until they find one which registers with my kid. They provide instant feedback to the kids and also write up a quick summary of the session which is shared via a Google Doc, so we (parents) can see what the kids worked on each session and understand where they excelled and where they struggled.
Center Director, Matthew & Center Owner, Sam are both wonderful & work very hard to ensure every student gets the support they need. I've met/talked with both multiple times over the years for additional feedback about my kids. Everyone is very accommodating and truly just want to instill a love and understanding of math in all kids. We highly, highly recommend Mathnasium of Decatur.

I am excited to share that since our daughter's test scores suddenly dropped in the 4th grade, because she was learning her math in Spanish at her language immersion school, she has been going to Mathnasium to build up her math confidence, and has it worked! Her 5th grade scores went up tremendously, and of all her "extra curricular" activities this year, she chose Mathnasium over gymnastics! Equally exciting, as she entered the 6th grade, she has been placed in "gifted math" class. We couldn't be happier with the team at Mathnasium of Decatur. Sam and team are dedicated and know what they are doing. They truly do only hire the best!

It's a quiet and friendly environmen, that's the only setting that our daughter looks forward to. Meghan has really improved her math skills and we thank you all for her success.
Calm, supportive environment and warm staff provide the ideal space for learning. Lessons are individualized so that the pacing is just right and demands don’t overwhelm but sufficiently challenge each child.
My daughter loves math and Mathnasium is a great resource to help keep her confidence up. I like that there are plenty of female math tutors to serve as role models too!
My son typically LOVES math. But somewhere toward the end of 4th grade, he became less interested. I signed him up for Summer camp at Mathnasium Decatur to help him with challenges and to boost his confidence. The instructors do a great job with the kids! My son was engaged in the work and would update me in the afternoons at pickup (a rare thing for this 10 year old boy.. lol). He also loved the math games at the end of each day. The owner, Sam Younis was also a great point of contact and responded to all of my questions in a timely manner. Thanks Mathnasium!!
Mathnasium has been a total life saver for my 7th grader who has always had a lack of confidence in her math skills. Math wound up being her best class last year. Crazy!
We just started visiting Mathnasium with our 8 year old, rising third grader. We've had a great experience so far and can tell a difference in our daughter's approach to math. She enjoys coming to Mathnasium and we're planning on continuing through the school year.

My daughter thrived at Mathnasium! She never complained about going and genuinely enjoyed the tutors and now enjoys and understands math! She went from failing her Math Milestone assessments to exceeding them in less than a year of sessions. It is money well spent. The owner, director, and tutors are all amazing. I highly recommend Mathnasium!!!
It was a great experience. My kids learnt how to think critically and then,get to the solutions. The instructors are excellent, very patient and very knowledgeable and above all had a very friendly learning environment.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. She really responds to their feedback and she has gained a bit more confidence with her math facts.
We also appreciate Matthew and Sam's flexibility with how to pay for sessions that work with her summer schedule -- my daughter is only in town for part of the summer and not here for a full calendar month. So they let us pay for 1 month, but allowed us to schedule her sessions between the 2 months for when she is in town.

We have been attending Mathnasium for several years. All three of our sons enjoy the experience, and have benefitted from the program. The Mathnasium team is a pleasure to work with as well.
My son’s experience at Mathnasium Decatur has been wonderful so far. He walks out of the center feeling a lot more confident then he went in. I am also especially thankful to the staff for their time and patience. The center director listened to my concerns when I walked in and vowed that they would do the best they can to assist my son. They definitely followed through on that promise. If you want your child to progress academically and feel more confident, Mathnasium Decatur is definitely the center to send them.
