The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about fitness. The gym has good amounts of good quality equipment.
There is plenty of on site parking and good amounts of gym lockers on the 1st floor, to store your bag and coat before going into the gym. The meeting and chill out areas in the foyer are very useful to sit and relax after a workout in the gym.
Excellent class with Paul, most enjoyable. What a shame there are only 2 classes at such a lovely facility.

Induction was great, the lady was lovely and mindful that I was nervous around other people and a bit anxious.. it’s just a shame the Ashton location is closing down..
There are lots of machines, so no waiting and if you have to wait then only for a few minutes..

The staff facilities all excellent
I usually visit Copley once a week this is to join the double line Dancing class on Thursday. If I am not working on the Wednesday I would also come to that class for line Dancing. Christie is amazing the classes are usually full and I may miss all my other classes at Denton but always try to get to this. I am not sure I would visit Copley if this class was not available. Some may think it is only dance but keeps you really active and the double class makes it so worthwhile

The swim schedule for my toddler. Small pool opening times are perfect. We use both day and evening sessions.
A good variety of classes and a new gym, clean and free parking.
However you can't get on a lot of classes and this is only going to get worse when Ashton closes. More classes and staff are desperately needed.
The swimming teachers aren't the best and certainly don't push the children to improve.
Great classes, staff friendly and centre always clean and tidy.
Huge fan of the gyms, dissapointed abiut the closure of ashton but if essential to close, so be it

Gym , sona, stream room & swimming all in one. All so it’s in Ashton near by shopping senter. Good price for people to. I see all older people & younger children for both health it’s very good. I think that’s sud stay there for everyone.
The best Yoga instructor in Tameside, just what I need at the end of a hard week at work stretch and giggles!
It has a very relaxed, friendly, community feel. The staff are always happy and friendly and easily approachable. The gym is always spotlessly clean. The PTs are always on hand to help. There’s definitely no discrimination in this gym. People from all walks of life. All shapes and sizes. And people at different stages of their fitness goals attend Copley active. When I attend I don’t feel like I’m being watched or judged by others. If you are suffering any sort of mental health or depression I would definitely recommend Copley active.
I love my Wednesday class with Andy! He makes it soo fun and interactive.
Love the gym
I had a really good catch up with Lisa from the Live Active team. She was able to help me add some exercises to my current routine to help me extend my fitness levels.
I’m currently accessing three normal classes a week, plus the gym (at Hyde). I have enquired about mid level classes for live active members esp for cardio and strength/shape as some of their current classes feel too easy for me, but still not ready for the normal classes.
It is within walking distance from my house but is easily accessible by many transport links for people who live a bit further out. The staff are approachable and friendly and it is great value for money.
