Very well organized, teachers are terrific with kids, beautiful facility
The opportunity for the child to explore multiple instruments and be exposed to various areas of music.
The instructors!
The communication is great; the vibe is friendly and fun. My kid loves it!
I am wowed by our experience at SOR. We started there with no experience and have watched our children quickly learn how to play, expand their musical genre interest and bond with other kids.
I like how the kids get into performing right away. And my kid really likes his instructor, which helps keep him motivated.
Good and professional instructors, kids have fun and learn too. Hear them play is a treat !
Really like the individual lessons! The group rehearsal is good but they spend too much time playing games in the beginning. Would be better if they spent more time actually rehearsing.
My daughter’s guitar teacher Rachel is awesome!
My son has been attending for 5 years. It’s been his salvation during on line school and the summer. The staff is awesome.
The timely response to questions and willingness to meet my child's needs. My child has benefited from the school community and the teachers. I am happy that she has stayed with the program and grown a lot in her musical endeavors.
School of Rock 101 has brought out the best of my daughter's ability and out of her comfort zone. She is still pretty shy with some things but being in a group has change her a lot. Her confidence and her ability to play better has really shown. I believe that the Summer Camp also help as well, making new friends and learning how to communicate with other students just like her. We are very pleased with the school.. . . plus, the staff is awesome.
Fun, easy pace. Kiss pick up fast.Teachers are great and staff is super nice.
My son loved it.
They are fun and engaging
The opportunity to play music with other kids.
fun, supportive, exciting and encouraging way to get into rock- such a blast
Flexible and motivating
High quality instructors who know how to handle young kids.
Getting to try various instruments over a period of time gives an opportunity for the kids to explore their interests, instructors are kid friendly and school staff are welcoming ....
The performance at the end really gives the kids something to work towards and is so much fun!
My son had an amazing week at camp. The staff was wonderful with him - he loved Wally (and everyone else) he met! We appreciated the how the program helped to build on his love for music. He felt so accomplished by the end of the week and our whole family was so excited for the performance. We will be back for sure!
Teachers are all wonderful and make learning super fun for the kids.
This is the second year my son has done a summer camp at the school and he's left each camp a more confident musician. I love that the programs are not only to teach the music but to help the musician feel good about where they are at on their path to mastering the instrument.
We signed our son up on a whim and he loved it! Looking into the weekly sessions now.
The staff is outstanding! My daughter loves the skill, attention and direction given.
Also love the performances! Everyone is treated fairly, so it seems from my perspective, and given a the same opportunity to perform.
Love this school!
The camp was phenomenal. The instructors and staff were great. My only criticism is the cost for the camp. Would have committed to additional camps and lessons if more cost efficient.
Very friendly, fun activities and making craft instruments, great experience of playing different instruments…my kids said they loved it!
We love our son’s teacher, Miss Rae. She keeps our son engaged and teaches actual music lessons that are appropriate for his age. I was pleasantly surprised to see her teaching the notes for each instrument they focus on in Little Wings. This class is definitely a step up from the child sing song music class to which we previously took our son. We hope to continue attending the School of Rock classes and graduating up each level as he ages.
Love that SOR teaches to play by ear, that the students are placed in a band right away, and that they have many opportunities to grow and be challenged! Most importantly that the students have so much FUN along the way!
