Further, my right knee had become so painful to the point where I could hardly stand. let alone walk; my appointment requests were for immediate attention so, when I explained my plight, your team kindly made me appointments the following day or so.
My first were with Dr. John P who initially examined my knee in October 2024; he provided a cortizone treatment that afforded amazing relief witin 24 to 48 hours.
All of a suddent the same pain returned aroud the 1st of this year so I called you and was set up swiftly with another visit to Dr. John; during that encounter we decided to try a medical lubricant injection to the right knee; unfortunately that did not quell the pain and thereore I was still unable to stand or walk again due to my right knee pain and constant aching over the following days.
Anticipating that this may occur, Dr John had made a follow up appointment request for me to see Dr. Crenshaw on or about January 20th, 2025.
Dr. Crenshaw honestly evaluated my particular circumstances regarding my over all health issues combined with my right knee mobility pain issus; we discussed the option of replacing my right knee surgically but that doing so given my overall health issues would be at best a 50/50 survival rate for me following the procedure and its lengthy rehab.
Instead, Dr. Crenshaw injected my right knee with another cortizone treatment, which is working as well as the initial injection did last October!
The plan is to move forward using the cortizone treatments which I pray will carry great relief from time to time.

Dr Keller explained options well, other than surgery. He was open about risks involving surgery, explained the procedure and expected outcome. He took time to answer questions. It helps to have them prepared ahead of the appointment.

QUESTION: my appointment was in January. In December I visited the office and asked if there was a list available if there were cancellations which would allow for an earlier appointment. The front desk said NO. They called to the back and were told NO.
This was surprising. Either there are never any cancellations or the doctor has free time (unbillable) until the next appointment.
