I love going to CorePower Winnetka! I wish they had more flexible times like the Glenview location has especially since I prefer Winnetka. That would be my only note. This is seriously such a great place to get a good workout in and I love going for sculpt!
Studio Fresh Pond has such a welcoming, clean, and community-driven vibe, but what really makes the experience special is Coach Amy—she brings an amazing mix of energy, clarity, and mindfulness to every class. Her cues are easy to follow, her sequences feel thoughtful and well-paced, and she creates a space where you feel both challenged and supported no matter your level. There’s a calm confidence in the way she teaches, and you can tell she genuinely cares about everyone’s practice. Her classes feel like more than just a workout—they’re a full reset, and I always leave feeling stronger, more focused, and grounded.

Southlake is a well oiled machine! Angel and Marissa are amazing studio managers. The studio is clean and teachers are very welcoming.
Great workout
I liked how on cue and professional the yoga instructor was. I enjoy taking classes with women at a similar age and similar place in their yoga journey. It increases the happiness that I feel from the class and the sense of connection. I also appreciated how familiar the routine was compared to yoga classes from other gyms or at-home.

The first reason I love this studio is obvious as the proximity to my apartment is only about a 6 minute walk. Next, and most importantly, I have really got to know a number of the instructors and have found classes that have become a regular part of my weekly routine. Lastly, I really enjoy the number of classes throughout the day. Sometimes I can't make my usual morning class and so I need to go to an afternoon or even evening class. Overall, it is rare that I cant find a class that suits my schedule. Are there things about this studio I don't like, yes, I think that the hallway with the lockers is weirdly narrow and causes for issues getting in or out. Additionally, I feel like with all the sweaty bodies in the studio's, there isn't proper sanitation happening between classes. That said, I do love this studio and the staff that run it.
I never thought I would EVER want to work out in a heated space, but I actually do like it at Core Power. It definitely makes it easier to lengthen muscles. Summer was a great instructor.

Jonathan and Alexis were both wonderful instructors. They both were very good at giving detailed guidance on form.
I also liked the size of the studio. It just has one room, but it is nice and big, so both classes I took there was plenty of room.
I love the fact that it is close to home, very nice personnel, kind and fun instructors. I love the variety of classes offered and different time opportunities. during the class I enjoyed the music, intensity of the workout but still freedom to slow down when needed and absolutely free of judgement environment. I will definitely be back.
