Student Testimonials
I really like the kind and enthusiastic instructors!
Great studio and teachers! But most importantly, the great workout and fun and positive environment. Also, the free hairties in the locker room.
The team has obviously changed since covid but the new anchors "own it" and represent you well. I am happy to see more instructors infiltrating the lineup simply for the joys of variety; i.e., the expertise of instruction is perfectly adequate but it would be nice to say, "I'm in the mood for a(n) Andy/Sam/Alice/Chrissy/... sort of energy today" rather than "Is it A or B?" (But I do like and enjoy A&B).
In all, I think you've got a good brand and product. The Bridgeport facility is nice and well located. The men's locker room desperately needs an overhead fan to move air around. I'm not a shopper, but the retail footprint on the floor seems appropriate (subjugated to working out and relaxing in the space).
It appears that you sometimes lose sight of the fact that faces, personalities, smiles, and expertise are the most compelling draw for members and that their "transfer of energy" is your greatest potential for word-of-mouth advertising. In my 20 years at your studios (I was there when you bought "Yoga Northwest" in NW Portland), I have never heard anyone say anything bad about your company... but I've never heard anyone say anything good about it. If I were your head of marketing I would ask myself, "what will it take to have my instructors (in every location) raving about 'how great it is to work for Corepower' and make it real?"
I never fill these things out. I did because of our long-standing, very-positive relationship. I wish you well and I thank you for the decades of joy that yoga has provided. First name removed
In person, great instruction!
I like the community that the teachers have built around the studio. It is a no judgment zone and the teachers do a great job of encouraging the students during the classes.
Michele is a great instructor. There are a ton of classes on the schedule.
Addicted to sculpt classes, love the heat, weights, instructors, studio space…missed CPY so much during shutdown.
The fun attitude of all the staff ;)
Great teachers and challenging classes!
Great class and stuio
Had a great week visiting this location. Bree was awesome. I got in almost a class per day.
Bridgeport studio is particularly clean and inviting. Nice facility. I enjoy the focus of muscular functionality and cardio. It’s not yoga but it keeps me very fit.
I love the instructors! They are so helpful and supportive. Always happy to see me and that feels good.
Solid studio teachers
MIchele is a terrific instrutor and so welcoming. Yoga sculpt kicked my butt!
Quality and variety of instructors. Between the studios near me, there’s a good selection of classes and times.
Beautiful clean studio with helpful staff. And it is a kick butt workout!
It is very challenging. I am inspired when I see other members doing poses I hope to achieve someday.
I greatly appreciate the professionalism and kindness by the staff. A wonderful experience
We were welcomed warmly and made to feel like family♥️
Excellent staff and experience
The SE Portland club is a great little place.
I love the instructors and the environment. It is a peaceful and fun place to be.
I like the consistency of the classes & organized way to check for appointments.
Friendly and humorous but challenging
My first time and the teacher was amazing and supportive. A comfortable environment.
Nice teacher
I really love the instructors and the students that attend class at the SE studio are the cherry on top. I try and dabble in all three Portland studios where I can but SE has the best crowd that attends classes.
The locker room is always very clean and I love that there is mouthwash in there for the times you're slamming a bar on the way to the studio. Ever since you guys moved the weights and the blocks to the right side of the studio it feels so much bigger and brighter in there. Maybe its just the lighting having that extra mirror but very nice touch. My favorite perk about SE is that we are not expected to wipe our blocks down anymore since you guys spray them with sanitizer. So nice to finish class reborn as a new person having sweat all of yesterday away and not try and squeeze into the same corner as everyone else to wipe down my props. Bonus points because its so much less wasteful.
The only constructive criticism I have for the SE studio is maybe its time to replace some of the blocks. Some of them are firm and can hold a man's weight but there are quite a few that have some give to them and squish when weight is applied. I know there are a few people who are like me and show up early to class to get the better blocks and there are two regulars that just started bringing their own blocks so I have a suspicion others feel this way as well. SE has a unique building layout where the front door is a very high traffic area where people are entering both the studio and the building as well as using the cubbies for their shoes all in the same small area that can easily get very dirty very quickly. Don't take this the wrong way because I think your studio is so clean and nice but I have seen fellow yogis tracking in gunk from that area before so maybe we can ask corporate corepower to get us a new vaccuum or something. Again, I know its not you guys its just the way the cookie crumbled with this location's layout and now that all the leaves are off the sidewalks its probably not a huge issue.
Katie B is my favorite I look forward to her class every week bc she keeps it so fresh and is such a treasure to have as a teacher. I always feel amazing and strong leaving her class and I don't know what I'd do if she ever left.
Sandra has amazing flow and even though my schedule doesn't allow me to take her class very often when I do I feel like I'm an artist when leaving the studio.
10/10 will always be a fan

The people are so friendly and happy a d the space is lovely and lively and clean and the sequencing is fun and challenging. My only feeling id la k is that the savasana is so short it almost feels like an afterthought.

The teachers are great, it’s a very friendly and safe place to be. I’m not able to practice yoga at home, I just love having the time for my practice without distractions
