I loved my experience at CorePower Back Bay! Sarah Kate D. was so welcoming and encouraging. The gentle flow C2 was perfect for a 7pm class. I would definitely attend this slower C2 class if it was regularly offered at other locations in Boston as well. Thank you, Sarah Kate!!
Great instructors, CPY is my go-to yoga studio in Harvard sq. Beautiful studio, clean and welcoming staff. First name removed class is my favorite. I'm looking forward to go back her class.
Medford was my home studio pre covid. The only time I can go there now is on Sundays.
I WISH they offered a morning C2 that wasn't before the sun comes up. Makes me sad.
Checca is THE best!
I make a point to try to get to Margarets class but I also enjoy the ease of parking, check in and locker rooms
I love the environment of going to yoga. Gyms make me nervous since I don't usually know what I am doing and am afraid to try out new things. The instructors at Core Power (I mainly go to Hannah's classes) are areas were I can be myself, try new things and take the class at my own level. If I am really burnt out, I can take it easy. If I want to sweat, I can push myself more than the class prior. I am able to leave anything from the day in my class and just be there to destress, build muscle and get a workout in without the stress. Core power made me feel more confident about my body, I now can workout in a sports bra and leggings knowing that I love my body no matter what it looks like. Thank you to this place for giving me more than I thought I would ever get out of it!
Loving it!
love the classes, music and instructors!
It' a fantastic exercise. I enjoyed learning there. Thank you for teaching me and I appreciate your time and energy. I'll be back!
Best, First name removed
Instructor was great and location is convenient.
Sylvie and Sara have amazing sculpt classes. Love the loud music, following the beat and adding in different non typical moves to sculpt.
always a great workout and instructor
Yoga sculpt is the best workout I’ve found that conbimes stretching, toning, and mindfulness/meditation. I love that I don’t have to sacrifice strength training to get the benefits of yoga.
Abby is a wonderful Yogi with a awesome tone and a great studio presents….
Ronan was an AMAZING instructor! I will definitely be back for his classes!!!! The best I’ve had yet at Core Power!
The instructions were fantastic! The workout was great! Will be back again.
For someone new to this practice with a history of multiple surgeries on my knees and shoulders, Kenzie’s class was extremely approachable, beneficial, and effective in guiding me through the practice with so much awareness to my physical limitations providing the class with multiple options for each pose while generously reminding us our options for both blocks to support us when necessary. I have begun to make her Tuesday 5:15 class a regular part of my routine, and look forward to diving deeper as I gain strength in my body and mind.
Love the loud jams
The Fresh Pond facility is spacious, clean, and welcoming! The instructors there have been wonderful, offering flows that are unique, dynamic, and informative (to my experience anyway!).
awesome
I love that every instructor reminds us that it’s our workout and time, it takes the pressure off keeping up with everyone else. I always leave tired from a great workout!
Spacious and clean facility, lovely instructors
The intensity, community and fun.
Great instructors. Great vibe. Great location. A little pricy, but worth it for the value.
instructor was light hearted and gave lots of options so you were comfortable
I had a great experience at CorePower in Charlestown! My friend finally convinced me to go, and I'm really glad that I did. I've been twice now, and took both Kenzie and Adrienne's classes (both were really great!) and will definitely be back.
I did want to quickly say that as my first time I was very nervous -- it can take a lot of guts to show up to a new class, and I'm not exactly the most athletic person. I let Kenzie know when I was checking in that it was my first time, and in all of the pre-class busy-ness she was very short and basically just said "do you need a mat and do you want to sign up for a two week trial or is this a drop in?". I said no and then she moved on to the person behind me immediately. I stood there for a second, unsure of what to do. I did not take this personally and wasn't offended, but I felt a bit lost; wasn't sure where to go to get changed or fill my water, was I allowed to grab a locker or did I need to sign up for one?, everyone around me seemed to know exactly what they were doing and where they were going, and it was more than a little bit intimidating. This is why people are nervous to go to classes (insecurities, the fear of the unknown, etc.) and this experience really played into that for me. I ended up figuring it out of course, and it was an amazing class. Again, I don't hold this against Kenzie or take it personally, I know she was really busy. I just thought she might want to know that sometimes saying "welcome! feel free to grab a locker straight through the back, and then the class is around the corner! let me know if you have any questions at all" can go a LONG way if someone is new and nervous. For some people this could be something that keeps them from feeling brave enough or welcomed enough to come back.
Great instructor!
Madison K was an amazing teacher and energy. Great class!!
Haven’t practiced in a few years due to a back injury. I felt that Sherri was very accommodating for my level and needing to take my own pace as I get back into it. But I loved the class and am excited to get back into my practice.
