I was very happy with the whole inspection process.
It is not required but would be a nice to have if the report also had an executive summary with only the noteworthy comments, i.e. skip all the stuff that is servicable, descriptions of what was inspected and not found to have any issues, or further descriptions about a system, and only mention things were attention is required.
Murray was very thorough and did an amazing job. Also took the time to completely go over and explain everything he found in the inspection. He is truly a wealth of knowledge!

Murray was fantastic! Great information, very helpful for my wife and I. We're first time home buyers so this is all new to us and Murray helped explain things in a clear concise manner and gave helpful suggestions.

Very thorough, personable
The inspection was done in a very superficial way. I think the inspector was good but the company has too many restrictions/limitation on what needs to be checked and what is not going to be checked. Certainly not satisfied for the $700 I paid.
The basement has water infiltration, the unit has various issues with a fireplace that could be dangerous for gas, no carbon monoxide and fire alarm inspection is conduced with this inspection. Not really anything a normal person could not do by switching the lights on and turning on the tap to see if water is flowing.
Very unsatisfied.

Amerispec inspections are quite thorough and they saved me a huge headache and thousands of dollars. Some people complain that 500$ is alot imagine 10k and up. The report I recieved 94 pages long shows how well trained the inspectors are. There was so much detail in the report I am happy I went with Amerispec.

I was really impressed with Chris Hill who did the Home Inspection on a house I am buying because he was so thorough.
Professionality, sense of trust and confidence by the way the service was conducted. Also having a debriefing after the inspection following the written report.
However, after the inspection and after going back home and re-reading the written report, we felt that we would have liked to have had more information and more explanations about a number of items in the report.
Perhaps there is a need to help in the customers' understanding and their learning about the way equipment or systems work that are less familiar to them. We think that, for example, having prepared images and illustrations to aid in those explanations would help to address this issue.
