I love how comfortable the theater is, but I do have a complaint. The movie was WAYYYYYYYYYY too loud. I changed seats, and it was still too loud. It was The Devil Wears Prada, so there weren't high suspense, chase scenes or fights. It was almost unbearable. I heard a couple discuss it, and the woman asked the employees to turn it down. They assured her that it was just the opening, upcoming shows. It wasn't. The entire movie was extremely loud. It was uncomfortable
We had a great time at Santikos. We generally go on Tuesdays for the reduced ticket prices. It's a great deal for this economy.

Good value. Good food. Wish the galaxy theater menu had just a little more variety, but the existing food is good as is. Love the santikos rewards program. My only problems lately were during a Tuesday night screening of The Backrooms.
I feel like a bunch of teenagers had entered the theater halfway thru, and I don't know if they had tickets. It was a pretty large group more than halfway through the movie. They were pretty annoying, with more than occasional talking and noise making. Maybe bump up security a little on Tuesdays to prevent theater hopping.
Also during the same screening a family had brought a baby into the rated R movie which kept crying and babbling through the whole thing. That really annoyed me, especially the multiple other children in the same family scrolling on their phones throughout the movie. I don't know what my recourse is for that specifically, but I mean, that's not fair to to the rest of us at all.

I’ve lived in and around Winston-Salem my whole life, and The Grand 18 has always been our theater of choice whenever we want a true cinema experience. It offers comfortable seating, great concessions, and a better atmosphere than any other theater in the city.
We recently attended a showing and unfortunately found the screen to be too dim. The manager gladly refunded us, as expected, but what really impressed me was how the team followed up afterward. The Theatre Director, Trey, was kind, professional, and proactive in ensuring the necessary repairs were made. He also went out of his way to inform me about improvements that had been made to other auditoriums, which I was previously unaware of.
It's clear that they take presentation quality seriously and genuinely value feedback from their patrons. The Grand stands out as a theater for people who truly care about the moviegoing experience.

I like the military mondays and the tuesday deals. If they come up with more, that would be cool too. I also enjoy the cleaniness of the theaters I go in. The fact they have an attendant at the drink/butter stations is a plus because that area before was not kept up. It is so much cleaner now and has been maintained. There hasn't been any "out of order" displayed signs on the machines. The last few months experience have been pretty top notched...from what I remembered. You would usually find maybe something could be off but no, I really enjoyed my time there with my family.

The reclining seats were really comfortable and the food selection was great. We had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and the grilled chicken burger and both were delicious. Thanks to all your staff that goes unseen, they did a great job.

Santiko’s supports military and veterans with their $6 Mondays. The staff snd management have always been professional and courteous.
As always, everything was great. I happy to say that if I encounter a problem, like no butter, popcorn machine stopped up, bad spills, whatever it may be, management is always quick in responding.
