I think making the gym hours to 24-7 would be an awesome improvement
Ice machine is always broken. Water fountain is broken now too. Facilities aren’t very clean.
Plenty of equipment so I hardly ever have to wait.

Earlier and later hours on weekend
Update some of the equipment. Somehow make it less cluttered.
Indoor tennis courts. Wish they would cover the outdoor courts since there is limited availability of indoor courts in winter and I know the tennis professionals have a hard time getting court time.
Suggest you modernize the billing at the club so that it is easier to keep track of what we are being billed for. It is a hot mess.
how about fixing the air conditioning?? it's been hot and stuffy for a month
I like that the trainers and staff are friendly. The gym is clean and well-kept. I like that all different kinds (ages, sizes, goals) are represented at the gym.

Welcoming and friendly staff, clean gym, nice weight equipment, daycare, plenty of exercise classes, great trainers, health bar, sauna’s, pool available, good cardio machines, simple check in process.
Make sure they open at 5am as stated and please fix all the equipment
Childcare worker accused my kid of things he has never done. My kid is not perfect but I know he would never hurt another child. I believe the childcare worker did not like watching my kid because he has very high energy. They let kids watch kids at this location. I have pulled my kid out of the program and now I drive extra distance to go to another gym so I don't have to deal with this specific employee because it will just anger me.
Looks and feels new! Super clean all the time! All types of equipment available including my favs: Real squat racks and functional training equipment!
You quit the monthly massages without notifying me. This is not customer service.
I pay extra so I can attend All American. The monitor is not working and not showing the correct zone colors, the microphone for instructor hasn’t worked in months. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the timing of the class I would not still pay the fee! No one even verifies, so I really should just stop giving genesis free money as they do not put the money into the class to maintain the equipment.
The locker rooms, especially the shower areas are fairly dirty and dated. The vents in the men’s showers are absolutely caked in dust.
1 I joined Genesis in Manhattan, Kansas, because of the pool. I like to lap swim. However, several swim teams meet at the pool now and so I never have time to swim. They could alleviate this by setting aside one or two lanes or a period of time when the pool is only open for lap swimming. They'll reserve the whole pool for swim teams, but not patrons who want to lap swim.
2. The men's locker room smells bad because it's not well ventilated (i.e. with vent fans) or cleaned on a regular basis. Towels are simply thrown on the floor and remain there for hours.
3. Items are often left and lockers for several days at a time. Even when there are only a few people in the gym, most of the lockers are locked. A large number of lockers do not work or the combinations are stuck.
4. There is often chewing tobacco in the drain of the steam room. This makes the entire steam room smell like chewing tobacco. I've seen this several times and the chewing tobacco often remains stuck to the drain for days until it is cleaned out. Same with the shower drains. I guess with the steam room it doesn't matter so much, because it's inoperative about 50% of the time.
5. Despite the signage, younger patrons (18~22 year old crowd) continue to photograph themselves without shirts on in the men's locker room. There have been several occasions when I've had to move out of the way so they don't catch me changing in the background of a photograph.
6. A lot of young men curse and talk about sexually explicit things in a very disgusting and offensive manner. This also happens in the men's locker room on a regular basis. I have reported this to the front desk, but don't know what can be done about it. Perhaps having people work at the front desk who are a little older than the offending patrons and are not afraid to put their foot down, when necessary.

I like the hours, but the locker rooms are gross a lot of the time. The treadmills also need to be maintained better. The belts slip on a lot of them.

The equipment is slow to get fixed. There is a lot of dust present on ledges and equipment.
Pool but I wish it were warmer temp. Lots of aerobic machines and tvs. Good service people.
Renovate the whole building, have reliable air conditioning, update your equipment, and make sure equipment is actually clean.
Everything, and I do mean everything, needs to be updated. The cardio machines are constantly out of order (specifically the stair stepper). The weigh area needs a major overhaul, new machines to replace the old ones that are falling apart. More kettlebells, more cable machines. A hang/push up bar (better than the terrible one there now). The locker rooms are in desperate need of an update, the carpet is disgusting and smelly and the showers are nasty as well. The steam and sauna could use a facelift too. I go to this gym because I like the vibe and the proximity to where I live, but it’s embarrassing to pay $60 for a gym that is so dingy and out of date. Especially when there are other Genesis(es?) that are freshly renovated and updated. Please fix these things.
I am disappointed with the condition of all of the equipment in the club. Equipment is rundown, in disrepair, doesn’t function properly, etc, etc. The parking lot has pot holes, huge cracking and broken apart cement areas. Poor upkeep of landscaping. For as much money as a membership costs I expect way better conditions.
More group aerobics classes - zumba and mixxed fit. You had mixxed fit when I had my three-day pass a few months ago but no longer offered it at the time I joined. Disappointed with the hidden fees and financial caveats at the time I joined. The process and cost was not transparent.
