My experience with the staff in front has been disappointing, the other day, a staff member was sitting on the shelf behind the front counter on cell phones. It looks like they are just hanging out and talk amounts theirselves. There were no towels in the cardio area at all. They don’t take an effort to get to know you, mostly young kids. I have had multiple times my contract need to be revised and I have left messages and no return either in email or phone call. Joe, the personal trainer was very helpful and took messages when I went back in I let him know I did not hear from anyone. He took it upon himself to offer a free training because he felt I deserved better customer service. Look around the building is filthy and needs updating and repairs it is definitely showing it’s age. The exercise room has tons of dust hanging from the lights, which I let front desk know several months ago I have not seen a difference. Floor boards are pulling away from wall by fitness room, woman’s locker room wet floors from wall leaking water, white stains on floor and bathrooms walls have stains in stalls.
I continue to come because of the Zumba teacher, Abby, she has great energy and is positive I enjoy that class.
Open concept so I don’t feel crammed next to others. I like hiding out in the training room to do my workout.
That I’m able to visit other Genesis locations while trAveling.
Glad to see we now have an operating steam room. Would be nice if we had shower curtains.
AC needed for spin and Pilates rooms please! Can we get the cracked pads replaced on the weight machines before someone gets MRSA?
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. A large variety of work out equipment.

some of the equipment needs to be replaced / repaired, and has been in this state for quite awhile. there is a continuous towel shortage, yet when the towels do “re-appear” they do not look new, rather very used with dingy brown hue to them (vs a fresh white).
First off your ad says that you have massage chairs and dry sauna and a lot of different things that aren't there now and that's what I thought I was paying for. The last two weeks that I have been there it has been empty which is fine but it's always nice to go and see people that you've seen in the past they're working out and able to talk to seems like something happened where there is nobody there anymore which is sad
Long account set up process. Had to jump through 10 hoops for no reason.
Keep temperature of the indoor pool warmer. Offer some stretch or chair yoga classes at 3:30 or 4:00 pm, one to three times a week.
Build your staff again. You need good class instructors to attract your customers. There was a great team 3-4 years ago.
Classes and great staff.
Love the training staff! There is a variety of equipment however many of the treadmills are down. If these are recommended for warm ups and cool downs the others need to be repaired so when I recommend Genesis I won’t be juggling with others to get to the equipment. I love it when the staff helps get weights that others don’t put back cleaned up as it makes the workouts go a bit faster without hunting down straps and weights.

The pool area could be cleaner. There is a scum line on the pool and the hot tub. Schedule of new classes are not posted in a timely fashion so that I can change my workout routine. I have over 500 points and there isn't anything on the list I am interested in.
Random charges and no heads up
The staff are friendly they have great equipment and the members are respectful to others.
Location
Have classes available after work hours. Many classes are during the work day. And it seems like Monday eve is when all the classes are offered. Other week day evenings have few offerings. I dont want to do multiple classes on Monday, then nothing the rest of the week.
Better restroom products, new lockers
I had to stop in for a quick shower after work before heading to a funeral. I messed up and locked myself out of my locker and a staff member (I totally didn't get his name) came by checking the locker room at exactly the right moment and helped me. Other than that the facility is beautiful and I love the layout.
The staff is really nice and friendly and it offers a lot of things to do.
There has been a toilet out of order; in the women’s restroom; since I joined in March. There is constantly a shower rubbing. There has been a sink out of order in the changing room. There is constantly broken machines with no signs on then at all. The hammer strength machines are always missing chest pieces or seats. Pull-ups on machines are constantly broken. Tia the trainer was my personal trainer. I got injured and came back two months later. I waited 3 weeks for her to fit me into her schedule or schedule me with another trainer. She blew me off and when I asked her about it she was extremely defensive and acted like I was the problem. This location is garbage besides the front desk. I love Cass street which is the busiest location, but their entire staff cares and takes care of the place:
The entire place just needs an update. The floor is rolled up in places which causes a tripping hazard, there’s a lot of lights out, the mirror looks like it has gunshots in it, and there is a hole in the floor on the stage in the workout class room that the instructors fall in. The machines themselves are okay and the staff is great. Especially the ones who teach the classes, but the whole place is dingy and ugly.

The gym has a great laid back environment while still being professional and I love working out there! My only suggestion for improvement is the childcare area. I wish there was more proactive engagement with the kids and that the staff did not depend so heavily on having movies and tv going all the time. In all my time of working out there, the tv has only been off one time in the kids area. I feel it would be better for the kids if they were inspired to use their imaginations or do art, instead of just be stuck in front of a tv.
I personally don’t like the set up of the hot tub and steam room. Some of your other locations have a better set up.
Also the shower situation isn’t ideal and the locker room is smaller
