You seem to have almost the full range of facility and activity opportunities: pool, weights & equipment, classes, nice locker rooms, sauna, steam, etc. Personally, I never had any interest in basketball, racquetball, and some of those. Neighbors come together and socialize.
Club is small, with poor use of space. Its time to turn on the A/C.
Have your staff be honest and upfront with contract terms. They lie to get you tied to genesis. Fitness classes are great tho. Because of staff- I wouldn't recommend genesis to others
Maybe add a bar for selling smoothies at the Olathe gym instead of having the supplements siting in there.
The equipment and set up. Cleanliness. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Towels, soap, blow dryer.
There are many options of machines and group classes to choose from. the staff is nice and they are helpful.
I like that you added more weights upstairs.
Location, equipment, and for the most part cleanliness.
There are not equipment cleaning sprays. The cleAnliness in the club is not up to par.
Bathing Towel supply is short.
Equipment is broken regularly and inspire of giving the feedback it is not fixed.
Faster response to return calls and do better on equipment repairs.
Clean, friendly staff, variety of equipment
I like the indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, track and workout machines.
My only complaint is I wish you stayed open later, especially on weekends. Why can't you stay open until 10 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? I remember when you used to stay open until midnight M-F, and 11 pm Sat. and Sun. That was an advantage you had over other clubs. Swimming laps at 10 at night is fantastic!
So many of the machines are broken and need to be repaired. They’ve been like that forever too. Lots of the equipment is old and really needs to be replaced
I think the staff at this location is great. Michael Thompson is an amazing asset to your company. Keep promoting individuals like him who have an amazing work ethic and really know fitness and how to help others with their fitness goals.
The new remodel is outstanding. I’m proud to be a member of this club
Offer another barre class in the 9:00 am hour.
The a/c needs to be fixed before I start recommending the Ridgeview location again.
It's the best gym in town.
The hours and the group classes, I just wish there were the same classes in the evening as in the morning. For me a class at night is very hard to manage when I have to be at work 5am so if some started 4,5 or even 6 would be better.
The club is great with exception of all the old guys walking around the locker room with their junk hanging out..
Everything!!! The instructors are amazing!!!!
It has become so crowded with people that aren’t very considerate. They work in groups and stand around and chat while occupying but not using machines. If you ask to use, it’s amazing at their attitude and answer. They are rude.
Machines are down way too long before being fixed. The whirlpool in the locker room is down often. It is dirty! If you are there first thing, crap is all around. It would take 10 minutes at the end of the night to pick up. Machines are so dusty. Again, clean up is not top notch!!! The facility has not kept up. We started with PraIrie Life when it was an awesome facility. It keeps declining. We don’t appreciate all of these membership drives that appear to be giving better deals. Where as we are not sure this is the case, perception is everything. When those run, there is an influx of people that it is almost unbearable.
This was brought to light more when our out of town adult kids came back to use this and pointed out the difference between Prairie Life and Genesis! and the clientele!
There should be incentives for long term members, a guest pass now and then for family members or college kids home for a break. You need to work on marketing for retention. A $29 guest day pass is stiff.
Bathroom showers-ugh! They need updating please! Off the top of my head, this is what comes to mind.
Thank you for asking!
1 Would like cheaper rates
2 Bluetooth on machines and TVs
3 More equipment to be working
Clean. Not overly crowded. Well equipped
I like the amount of equipment provided as well as the services of steam, sauna and jacuzzi with clean towels everyday which not all locations have them.
Lots of variety, friendly/happy staff, soap and other amenities in locker rooms
Friendly place to be. Equipment is usually available
It has taken much longer to complete the remodel than predicted and very inconvenient during this time. It was a long time to not have restrooms. Also many hazards for tripping etc. Some work like the finish strips on stairs done poorly. Also my favorite yoga class which I’ve attended for over ten years lost the amazing instructor and replacement is substandard. However some of the remodeling including locker rooms is turning out very nice I’m not using the lockers because I can’t figure them out and I can’t use my padlock.
Locations, equipment, staff
not very crowded when I go
