The coaching and friendly environment.
I enjoy the variety of the workout, and that I don't have to think about what to do next, it is all planned out for me. I feel I am getting a total body workout in exactly an hour, and they keep to the schedule so you can plan your day accordingly. It is high energy and fun.
There are many things i enjoy about an OTF workout. The coaches are amazing. I have yet to meet one I dislike or do not enjoy their class.
They are there to help guide you, push you and be better. Being around such a diverse group of people in each and every class is awesome. You have everyone from short to tall, young and old, pregnant, and then the elite OTF members to those just starting their journey. It is very inspiring to see the transformation in other members.
Add in the challenges, benchmarks and signature work outs. Its an added bonus.
When Covid shut things down, it was on me to still workout. I ran a little around the neighborhood, but cars, sticks and uneven terrain made that difficult.
Found a treadmill even. Tried that a couple of weeks, but just wasn't the same. It is far easier for me to drive 15 minutes to a studio for a 1 hour workout than it is to walk into my garage and run for 30 minutes.
I am so thankful for the front desk staff and the coaching staff at Arlington Highlands. I am in such better physical and mental shape than I was before I started. Love looking in the mirror and seeing muscle definition. Increases self esteem and confidence in so many other aspects.
The workouts too are as much a mental workout as they are physical. 2000m row, 12 minute run for distance, Everest, and even testing yourself to hold a new base pace. You have to believe your body is stronger than your mind leads you to believe.
