Its a good structure and effective workout. It allows you to push yourself to whatever level you prefer.
Love that it's already planned out for me. I just have to go and put the work in.
I like that I don't have to think about what muscles I am going to work etc. It has already been decided for me. I also love the competitive nature of the class and knowing how hard I am working based on my HR.
I enjoy how every class is different. I like how each class works different muscles of the body. The coaches are very motivating and upbeat!
Coach was very helpful and enjoyed the workout
The intensity, the encouragement and how upbeat everything is. I also enjoy the coaches and how easily they can modify an exercise for me
Efficient, effective.
the variety and some of the leaders
I’ve been working out at OTF Bearden for 8 months and my physical health is better in every way. I honestly can’t say enough great things about the program. It’s absolutely worth the expense to me.
Its an engaging and competitive environment.
I like that it is fast paced, big class but not the feel of a regular gym where people stand around talking all of the time.
I love that I can show up and show out. The coaches are all great too!
Good to work out with friends, great amount of time, good results
Its different every day, and the coaches bring their wonderful enthusiasm each workout. I get some good cardio in, plus some good time on the floor with isometrics or weighted exercises.
I love it! But I almost didn’t put 10 because it’s so expensive. I realized this week that it costs $15 to use the scale. I realize this scale provides a full analysis and is prob worth the cost but for $160/mo, a monthly weigh in should be included.. or a least quarterly. The monthly fee is too high to charge extra for this, especially when we pay $ for most challenges too.
I not only get a great workout, but my heart rate monitor tells me a lot about how much of a great workout I'm getting. Plus, the staff is very helpful and extremely supportive.
It is structured to provide a variety of exercises within routine expectations.
It provides coaching that guides, motivates and supports without judgment.
A program approach that encourages you to compete with yourself more so than with others.
Everything. The coaches are incredible, the music is absolutely on point, and nothing beats Orangetheory Cleveland camaraderie. I am so grateful for orange theory.
I like that no matter what level you are at, there is something for everyone.
I love the hiit workouts, I used to believe in slogging away at two hour runs or rides but through reading and experience I have come to realize aging adults(like 55 year old me) need hiit training. It’s the best thing for our aging bodies. I love how clean and organized the studios are every day. I really have not had a bad coach yet. There are some I enjoy more than others but all have been pretty good. Ok here is my dislikes- I thing the equipment could be maintained better or maybe some needs replaced. I hate getting on a tread mill running all outs and it sounds like it’s going to explode or it’s out of balance. Sometimes I have seen row or tread stations out of order for days. It has been better lately but some treads are still funky when you use them. I like when people are recognized for milestones classes- number of classes attended. This has not happened in awhile. I feel like anytime you can recognize your clients and give them a shout out you should. I can’t tell you how many times I have seen people on Orangetheory pages screen shot and repost their accomplishments. Same thing with benchmarks. I like to see where I stand and where others are in their benchmarks. Most of the times the leaderboard is posted but there have been a few times that it has not been. A couple months ago Angie made the leaderboard for the first time ever and I was so stoked for her. I was able to go on social media and brag on her and I know that secretly she liked that. I think so many people like to see their results posted . I like the theme days and fun things that go on. I like the hangouts. I think the most important thing the coaches should be aware of is relationships. In 30+ years of coaching the most important element of coaching is building relationships of those you coach. I know Orangetheory is different but coaches should learn peoples names, learn a fact or two about them. Make it a point to tell at least two or more people after class great job today. Way to add speed earlier. These positive cues go a long way for everyone. I see people post all the time on different Orangetheory how they loved that their coach noticed this or complimented thus or that. People love that and will work harder for you and attend your class more if they feel like you are invested in them as a person. Angie and I both love Orangetheory and we recommend it to everyone. I feel like lots of runners could benefit from the strength aspect of it. I fell into the trap of doing lots of trail running and ultras for years thinking I was fit and cardio wise I was pretty fit but my strength was starting to decline a little. I am glad to be at Orangetheory.
The instructor Abby made the workout super challenging but also supported me during the hardest moments. OTF is none stop work and highly structured. It’s exactly what I need in my life and can’t wait to come back.
I don’t have to plan or think. I can show up and trust that programming and the coaches are set up for my success.
