South City is one of my all time favorite Atlanta restaurants due to their warm and friendly staff, their delicious take on souhtern cuisine, and their welcoming atmosphere that is never stuffy.

Nancy, our server, was absolutely fabulous. Our first sight of her was her skipping down the stairs headed toward us with loads of enthusiasm. The dinner food was excellent as well.

Great bar, great bartenders and waiters/waitresses that are super friendly and of course Agnes is the greatest!! Food is consistently good and specials are always a surprise. Always a must when visiting Atlanta!

I love the atmosphere (especially the upstairs area, it's very romantic and great for a date or anniversary atmosphere), the food is delicious and fulfilling yet very elegant all at the same time and I've had nothing but great service every time I've been there!!!

EVERYTHING from the D-Lish food to the atmosphere....Our Server Katie was Fantastic and the food was scrumpdillyumptious! Our visit was on NYE and it can be a little crazy on the Bigger Holidays but everything was perfect.....we had the Carpacchio (one of my husbands fave dishes) and it was fantastic, I had the fried green tomatoes ( I knew from the time we picked the rest this dish was a MUST) and I am so not a fan of goat cheese but it was melted and I actually have a new respect for it.....the Tomatoes will be a staple for every time I visit and the chili sauce was a perfect compliment .....I had the Lamb with cheese grits, figs and sweet potatoes....there are no words to describe this Dish....I hope it stays on the menu it was FANTABULOUS...the sauce had a hint of curry and the boneless lamb melted in my mouth....My husband had the NY strip which also melted in your mouth....the potato au gratin was thin sliced potatoes, cheese and garlic GOODNESS! The dessert had to be wrapped to go because we were to Full to eat and they were award winning also...bread pudding cheescake with Blueberry compote and sticky toffee pudding.....all I can say is I cannot wait to return!

I have been dining @ SCK since I moved here in '97. Since the opening of the Cobb location, i now eat brunch there almost EVERY Sunday. After a recent visit back to the Midtown location- I am convinced that this location is SUPERIOR in food quality and consistency. Still loving SCK...
