Meathead Movers is well priced and their staff are very friendly. The movers have all been wonderful to work with and go above and beyond to make sure your furniture is exactly placed the way you want it.
Movers were professional and took time to explain the charges in advance including how the time is tracked. I appreciated the clear communication. Although the movers did damage a piece of furniture, the problem was addressed to my satisfaction and I felt like the company cared about making things right.

The movers were great. Did everything well. However after they left we noticed a couple of scratches in the wall and a big chunk of paint taken out of our stairwell.
I have used your moving services last December when I moved out of my home in Atascadero, stored my furniture and items in your storage unit and just this week you moved me to Orange County. I appreciated every crew member that has served me and it is obvious that your company is well managed, and you do a great job training your employees. I can't thank you enough, especially because this was a difficult move due to a "high conflict" divorce.

The movers were very careful and worked well together. They were polite and efficient.
They were very professional. They got way more than expected done in the time that I had them. They packed an entire 16’ POD with WAY more than I thought would even fit in there. They had no problem carrying ridiculously heavy furniture down three flights of stairs and were very polite the entire time. I’ll be recommending MHM to anybody I know that’s moving in my area.

All of the guys were very transparent and nice to work with. They worked hard and did a great job, they were also good at explaining what was going on.
My only complaint was the lack of warning about their policy stating they cannot disconnect the fridge themselves and I had to do it. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to do it since I have never had to do it before. Knowing before hand would be very helpful.
This had nothing to do with the movers though, they themselves were great.
I appreciate that someone got sick, which is why they were late and only two people arrived. The guys were really friendly. However, they were incredibly slow. They did not "run" back and forth to the moving truck as I was told. Instead, they chatted and hung out. In addition, they did not have the tools they needed for the move as I was promised. I had to go to two of my neighbors and request basic tools (e.g., socket wrench and rope) that they did not have. I had already moved a significant amount of stuff since my new home was only a mile away. Basically, I only needed two beds, living room, and dinning room furniture moved ... along with about 20 boxes. I am not sure why that took almost six hours to accomplish. I had chose Meathead Movers because I had a friend who previously used them, but I do not plan to use this company in the future. I have another company that I used in the past who was much more efficient. In the end, I feel as though I was overcharged for the amount of work that I received by Meathead. I would have a hard time recommending this company to other people. (I also find it really awkward to be asked to fill out an evaluation that is handed back to the movers. They were really nice guys and I did not want to be mean to them. So I gave them good ratings, but that evaluation was not a reflection of how I felt about the move.)
