Teaches basics and sportsmanship
Good coaches, nice league
I like the ease of schedule, format of the practice/game all in one day.
We just had Owen L. As the ref for my sons game. He did a wonderful job with the boys. Very energetic and helpful with the kids!
Friendly and easy league for entry players! Super convenient!
Great facilities, teams and coaches. Savannah made sure I rate you guys.
Good organization, enjoy the program
This year. Was very well set up Brayden enjoyed soccer and learned
We like the convenience of the practice before the game.
We also liked Owen and Davis.
It has a positive and friendly environment for the kids to learn to love the sport. All parents and coaches care for the kids.
Practice and games are together, events on Saturday
I think the district manager did some revamping with the program because this go round we had an incredible experience with soccer and their coach that was hired on. He was extremely experienced, and was wonderful with the kids. He did great drills learned the kids names by heart on the first day. When we showed up to the field, all of the equipment was present, and the coach was ready to engage with the kids. I could go on about him. It has been a great experience.
Culture and positivity
Great time!
Great coaching and online portal.
Focus on learning
Flexibility and that practice is same day as game
Kids have fun and get exposure to sports
Savannah at i9 is great! Need additional coaches though
My son loves playing sports with I-9 sports! Such a great program!
It's cool
Team work and sportmanship
We love that it’s one day a week. The ref/head coach is amazing! He’s so good with the kids and he gets the parents involved. The other coaches are great as well. My boys plan to try out every sport with i9!
We started last year with Soccer Shots and moved over hoping for more and we found it with i9 Sports. We love all of the different skills being taught, the course setup for practice and the addition of game time after practice. Having practice followed by game time is helpful for busy schedules. The coaches are very interactive, engaging and knowledgeable.
We are concerned about one of the players “E” on the team who is a bit aggressive with the pushing and shoving and had been since week one. When he pushes and shoves, Caleb and even other kids shut down and do not continue playing. At this age I feel it is inappropriate and does not encourage sportsmanship or game play. If Caleb keeps shutting down when pushed on a consistent basis I don’t see the point in continuing. Also disappointed in how I see the medals distributed. The website mentions sportsmanship and teamwork attributes but it seems to be given to those who need encouragement and are more disengaged which discourages those that are participating. Lastly, it seems as though not many volunteer coaches signed up. Today only the coach was on the field solo which made it very difficult to guide and coach the team. Many kids become distracted (which is understandable for this age) however a coach isn’t there to redirect and teach them when the only coach is focused on the ball and keeping it in bounds. Lastly, I would like to see more discussion around defense (since one kid primarily has the ball throughout the game) and learning how to reroute a ball to keep it in bounds.
It teaches our kids the importance of teamwork and following directions.
It's a great way to try out a sport!
Practice and game same day.
Great balance between fun, learning and sportsmanship
That all kids get an opportunity to play and learn the sport. It's not just about competition and winning at all costs.
This was the perfect first experience for our school group. The refs and site director helped make adjustments for us to compete. We were able to improve each week.
