The bike is great. I ordered a taller and adjustable stem. It did not come with the vertical bolt that goes down into the fork tube. It's a hardware store item so no real issues but disappointing. Old bolt had wrong type head.

The Bicycle Cellar of Farmington Valley is probably the best bike shop in Connecticut. They are an absolute pleasure to work with.
However, Trekbikes.com should give online customers the option to have their new bikes shipped to their home for assembly. Some customers, including myself, are capable and would enjoy opening the box and building their new Trek.
