The site is relatively new and and good repair. I also appreciate that it is not crowded, which I run into at other Y sites that I regularly attend.
It is best for a quick in and out when working downtown on my lunch break. The people are amazing and the equipment isn’t packed with so many people that you can get on what you want and get back to work.
Quiet clean environment! Only wish there was a smith machine and hip abduction machine.

I’ve been a member since moving to Fort Wayne in 2022. While I was a longtime Y member in California, the staff, facility and community at the Weigand Family Y is so far superior to any of the Y locations I’ve frequented elsewhere. I love the compact size of the Weigand Family Y—there is everything I need and want and nothing I don’t—and the smaller size relative to other locations makes it so much easier to get to know staff and fellow members.
Above all, a huge shout out to Tammy! I love her classes, training tips, enthusiasm, proactive approach and spirit. Can’t imagine my Fort Wayne life without Stretch and Strengthen class thanks to Tammy!
The staff is friendly and so helpful! Everything is very clean and it’s a great place to be for my workouts and also for community.

I LOVE the Stretching and Strength class run by Tammy. She is the absolute best. She's professional, competent, and very personable. he whole class thinks the world of her.

The e-gym is terrific. Lots of equipment for cardio work -- treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes.
AJ is excellent. Her customer service is unparalleled. All the staff are friendly. Love the windows. I actually appreciate that there is no televisions on while I work out. It can be distracting, and sometimes the news channels do not all stress release one should get from exercise. I love the e-gym. It is very clean.

I really wish (and heard from some others also) that this Y location had a hip abductor machine. It is the one piece of equipment that is missing to make the fitness experience complete.
We are greeted upon entering. It is easy to go about your workout routine.
