The y is always clean. Workers are friendly. The Renaissance Y we have an awesome instructor for aquatic.Her name is Tashanna Harris-English. Her class is fun and I look forward to attending 3-4 times a week. Very happy.
I love the versatility and availability of the Ys I visit. I work at South Side and live in the 07, so I visit Central, Renaissance, Weigand and Jorgensen YMCAs on a weekly basis— depending on my daily schedule of events and proximity to each location either before or after work or during my lunch break.

I’ve been going to the y for over 15 years it’s my 2nd home
It was my first visit to the renaissance Y. It was clean, welcoming and seemed to have a schedule that was extremely accommodating to my needs. The staff was friendly and the women in the class couldn’t have been friendlier.
I love going to the Renaissance Y. The staff is ALWAYS welcoming and friendly. I participate in an aqua-fit class on Tuesday & Thursday mornings. The instructor is Tashanna, and she is the absolute best. It is evident that she loves what she does. Her class is always full, and even though she works us really hard, we have such a good time while we work!!

The pool water is so warm and therapeutic. Staff in the lobby are always friendly and attentive.

My favorite thing is the pool, along with Aqua Fit classes. Tashanna is a great instructor. Everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming, which means a lot.

This particular Y exceeds my expectations in every way. Every employee that I have come in contact with Sandra at the front desk, Tashanna's classes are the best. She is tough but also lets us know not to over do things and damage our bodies. The ones that clean are superb they do not leave anything untouched. Not a smudge or mark on the walls or floors. The pool temperature is excellent, as any cooler and it would not be doable, as these bones can't tolerate the cold. You can tell these people and the members as well care about this place and take care of it and keeps the place in tip top shape.
I come to this gym because, in my opinion, it’s the best. I live on the north side of the city and I’ve visited four different YMCA locations, and this one stands out as the best. The childcare is excellent, and the staff is very kind and caring. The facility is always clean, and the people are very respectful. The pool is also at a perfect temperature. The only thing I would suggest is adding more classes, but overall, it’s great. I will definitely keep coming.
