Friendly and care
I love that it has become a family. We encourage each other, and have real conversations. A great place for my kids to be when I workout.
I go to water aerobics class. I love the warm pool and the teacher. She is fun and energetic.
What a great location! Staff was very friendly😊 and the facility appears well cared for. I especially liked the art on the walls. This was my first visit to this location to participate (donate) in the Red Cross blood drive. We could hear the music for a cardio class on the other side of the gym divider, and though it was too loud for the phlebotomist techs trying to take blood pressures (hard to hear pulse with stethoscope) I have to admit that the great beats of the music made me very interested in taking the class on another day. 😄 Also, thank you again to the YMCA for partnering with the Red Cross and Six Flags and the gift of a free pass to the parks. We look forward to that adventure later this year.
Due to my aging, damaged body, I have physical limitations in using most of the equipment on the workout floor, so I spend most of my time at Rennasaince Pointe in the pool doing movements or exercises designed by my Physical Therapist to help maximize my mobility.
I have met a number of older adults and most folks are very kind and loving. I am always greeted when I arrive in the morning and when I leave by the desk staff. The RP YMCA is a very welcoming facility that seems to serve the community well.
I was an active YMCA member at the old facility in downtown Fort Wayne from 6-17 yo when I left for college. I have reconnected with the Y and RP because of the warm large pool. The AOA community at RPY is very open and happy.

My experience at this Y is phenomenal. All the Staff is helpful, friendly and shows their happy that we have joined them for activities. From the front Desk with Sandra water classes with Tashanna, the life guards are all welcoming. This place exceeds in cleanliness as well. Thanks to all
Renaissance is my favorite location because the people there are the most friendly and open about their faith. I also think that in comparing to other locations, it's one of the cleanest and least busy.
It's quiet, people are very friendly, and classes are fun.

The Renaissance Y in Fort Wayne is a wonderful place. The staff and guests are welcoming and friendly. The pool is wonderful with good hours, and they have a good variety of gym equipment to work out on. They have a lot of activities for the kids, and the kid watch is fantastic

It's very ni ce and clean. I can get to the machines I use for exercising. Very nice showers, and Warm water in swimming pool.

The staff, Deanna and Marisol, were very friendly and welcoming! They truly cared about the members, and the facility has a strong community feel. Renaissance Pointe is more than just a place to work out, it's a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together, grow, and support one another. The programs being offered are impactful, especially for youth and families, and the Y’s presence in this neighborhood makes a real difference!
