Dependability
A steady, dependable company with a courteous and responsible staff. I have been a customer since 1994-95. I have only made one emergency call. About three years ago, my oldest grandson was on the front porch and got a whiff of a "chemical or fuel smell" --so I tracked it down to a small brass fitting on the tank. When I called Freeman they said they would be right there --and they did in less than 30 minutes. The service technician had the necessary part and repaired it within 15 minutes. Keeping my tank from running out
Small town local attention to customer service.
The local office and staff of Freeman Gas are wonderful! The new procedures for telephone contact and to try to talk to someone in the local office are HORRIBLE. I had a simple request for some information and trie to call the local office. In three (3) efforts I got someone in Georgia, someone in Tennnessee and someone in Kentucky. They could not help me. When I asked where I could complain about this HORRIBLE service I was told to contact the Customer Care staff. I asked to be connected to Customer Care and was told that the people answering the phones are not allowed to do that. Then I tied to contact Customer Care and was unable to do that either. Your new line should be called WE DONT'T CARE ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERS.
I've been told you've ;ost many customers already. So, apparently you don't care! Your new remote phone service to answer calls will kill your business. Maybe you are like the hedge funds that buy businesses only to bankrupt them and then sell off the assets for personal greed. Shame on you for ruining a good business and probably putting decent, hardworking people out of work. Your new work model is a HORRIBLE disaster. Shame on you!!
I like the prepay program, and I like that the delivery is something I can count on and lastly the company has good communication!

In the past Freeman Gas truck drivers were like family and they kept up with propane deliveries due to forecast weather conditions- not sure that is still valid under the new corporate structure!
