When we were checking in, our daughter was having a hard time being separated from her younger brother. A very nice employee, who’s name I wish I’d gotten, handled her with amazing kindness — even going so far as to offer her gummy bears as a reward. It made the whole process a lot smoother and we really appreciated it.

The ability to have a safe place to achieve fitness goals. The YMCA employees who are nice, helpful, encouraging in all things. The smiles that greet you at the door and the hands that work hard behind the scenes to help those in need in all ways. The YMCA is a place to lay down your burdens and lift your spirits all why becoming stronger at the same time.

Friendly, helpful people/instructors (so far!). I like the app and the facilities in general, the building, workout areas, ladies locker room, lockers and infrared sauna...And I love that my membership is free through my Health Insurance, Ambetter of NC! Thanks!

Love the facility. Peak times are very crowded. Would like to see the facility stay open to 10pm or 11pm during the week. I would recommend to others to join but would be honest about the peak times and the availability to the equipment. Plus, the issue closing at 9pm does give you a lot of time after you get home from work, eat dinner with the family then try to get to the Y and work out before it closes. Just having that extra hour at night makes the world of difference.

Nice staff, nice facilities, 5 minutes from my house, and you fixed the hot water problem in the pool locker room.

The Kraft Family Y is one of the cleanest, best run Ys in the triangle. In fact, of all the triangle Ys, Kraft Family is a top of the line, 5 Stars facility. Everything is clean, everything is working, staff are friendly and it’s a pleasure to work out here.

Everyone I met when I applied for membership were very friendly and helpful. I also received a tour of the facility that afternoon and was introduced to several members. The day after i applied, i received a phone call saying they my UnitedHealth care Renew program was not one that was accepted. Apparently there are levels of the Renew plan based on your specific policy. Since I was not eligible to join based on my insurance plan, I came back the next day to cancel my membership.

I was very please with the way the staff of the Y handled the application process and they way they handled the notification that the Renew program provided by my insurance was not accepted.

The staff I interacted with were fantastic, both during the application process and the cancellation process. Based on this interaction I would recommend the Kraft Family YMCA to family and friends. I would also come back to join if my insurance changes in the future.

Everything. The facilities are great and issues with equipment are handled very quickly. The kid zone is amazing. The staff in the entire facility is so lovely and helpful.

The Kraft YMCA is very well equipped and maintained. What I like the best is that you keep it clean without using noxious chemicals and bleach. Also, the staff are super friendly and well informed.
