The members, equipment, and staff.
The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) is a wonderful community. The gym itself is well kept, and this YMCA in particular has a fairly large fitness area. The staff are very friendly and the members are too. I do wish there was more of an emphasis on Jesus, given the organizations background and original intent, because there is more culture than Christ within the organization at the moment.

i would like to see more spin classes in the evening, remember many of your members work so adding morning and afternoon classes does nothing to advance working folks opportunities to exercise

I love the atmosphere. As soon as I walk in the door you are greeted with a smile. Just as well departing from the gym. Everything is so nice. Lots of space. The locker rooms are always clean . It’s really a nice place. Very convenient for me that my job is only 3 mins away.

I am in a community were members know my name. The staff are friendly however the members connect with one another this is a huge selling point for me at my age.
I enjoy the Thrive classes. They are taught by knowledgeable and caring individuals.

The team is friendly. You are alway greeted with a smile and by name. Instructors are enthusiastic and encourage you to do your best at every level. Members welcome each other and share laughter as they sweat working out. It is a a pleasure to be a member at the Kraft YMCA. Great group fitness programs.

I love being able to go to the YMCA, I have been going to the y since I was a kid. when I was 11 the first time on Hilsbouro st. the bus would come to our neighborhood on Tuesday and Thursday night and bring us there, they would have some type of gym activity as well as an hr. of swimming. They had a popcycle vending machine that had creamcycles for a dime! And they would give us all fireballs! Great times!
