Member Testimonials
I have a lifetime fitness membership and planet fitness. This YMCA is wonderful. The only thing keeping me from cancelling my lifetime fitness membership is the YMCA hours are not quite as good for me. My son chose YMCA over lifetime because his friends go to the Y. This seems to be a family oriented center and I would recommend it.
Friendly greeters

Wide variety of excellent classes
Overall, we love the Y. My husband and I both enjoy the family-feel and the kindness of the staff and members. We have family and friends who are members, and they gave the Y high marks--with the caveat to avoid the after-school group. Since we are retired morning people, we had zero concerns about joining since we would not be there in the afternoon. However, we decided to go work out in the afternoon recently since our house guests had left. I was extremely disappointed in the rudeness/selfishness of several (not all) of the male youth. They tended to camp out on machines (unlike in the morning, where folks, do their sets/reps and move on). For example, when I asked a young man who had been on a machine for quite a while reading his phone, if he was finished, he told me he still had sets to do. That's fine, I simply asked how long he thought he needed, and I'd wait or come back. He said, 'I'll be done when I'm done". Really???? I would not expect that type of response from any member at the Y! I'm not suggesting that this one person is representative of the entire youth population. I raised boys, I know how they like to play/workout together and what better place to do that than the Y. But a level of courtesy is appreciated especially the young to the old. So, I'll stick to mornings. No follow up with me is needed, I am simply making you aware since you asked.
The Kraft Y has so many fantastic classes, I love Body Pump and Pickleball. It’s a great way to meet nice people.
Very friendly and helpful. Good classes to choose from, lots of options
I appreciate the Les Mills classes of body pump and body combat. I hope you will add Les Mills body attack-it is a game changer for one's mental health. Anna W. welcomed me to class in such a hospitable manner. She is the first reason why I joined. The facility and equipment are top of the line. The facility is clean and always stocked with wipes and fresh towels. The front desk is so helpful and welcoming. It is my new gym home.
The addition of Stephen Urben and Kayla to the Les Mills instructors is a highlight. They are fantastic and so professional, as is Anna.
Thanks for asking my opinion!

Excellent facilities. Very friendly staff.
The YMCA is integrated into my day to day life style. Mainly thru exercise and interpersonal relationships. However, the Y's outreach into the greater community adds alot of respect from me.
I focus on going to Kraft mainly due what it provides for exercise resources, as well as its location. Occasionally, I go to Taylor, but it's offerings are inferior to Kraft mainly due to available square footage.
The YMCA provides a welcoming atmosphere with friendly front desk staff, a clean gym, and a nice track. The sense of camaraderie after a workout enhances the overall positive experience.
Gym equipment
Small extra spaces tailored to different types of workout (patio for stretching)

All the classes, kid zone, atmosphere
The friendliness of the staff and the community feel along with community events!
Staff is great!
wonderful facility, great staff
Overall good facility and equipment and people
The employees (and volunteers) to help with basketball are AMAZING!! We were actually there for a basketball game (we’re from Taylor’s YMCA) and their refs and stats keepers were the absolute BEST!!!
Quality of the classes, atmosphere, friendly & helpful staff, clean, spacious and light-filled facility. Sometimes the classes can feel a bit too crowded however.
The variety of group fitness classes and excellent instructors
I love the classes and friendly atmosphere! Excellent facility and childcare. However, there’s been a few times recently where classes are over full either due to over booking or people showing up without reservations. On Friday, one class was so full that we were nearly hitting each other and there wasn’t enough equipment for everyone. Class limit says 30 but 34 people were there. It’s not fair to those of us who had a confirmed spot in the class for it to be that overcrowded
Really like the equipment upstairs, always clean and typically in working order. People are very friendly and helpful. Also really like the classes. Only critic I have is there are never enough weights for the Lean and Cut class on Friday’s. I get there 25 minutes early and still can’t get the hand weights needed. Really need to invest in more 10, 12, and 15 lb hand weights.
I like the resistance training and cardio training facilities and that they don’t get too crowded.
It is one of the most important things to me. I love the expertise of the instructors and the professionalism of all the other staff members. There is a high degree of excellence. It is also important to meet like-minded community members that enjoy fellowship and a healthy lifestyle.
At the Kraft Y, I love my instructors: Isabell, Melissa, and Gretchen. I love the friendly staff too. The towel service is essential! The facilities are great. The overall atmosphere and vibe is positive but serious as well.
The Participants are very polite and the staff the same.
I have also had wonderful experiences with instructors Lauren Musolf, Madison Whitley and Stacy Carver. I hope you also make an effort to thank them for their dedication and talent which benefits people like me.
Thanks
