The Kerr Center is a mile from our home. The drop off and pick up are easy. The camp seems to be well organized and staffed with good people. My 8 year old grandson loves it! It’s also easy to reach someone at the camp if you need to.
This year is the best year so far! The camp counselors are more mature. My daughter says they are not playing inappropriate music and no bullying is allowed. The kids and counselors in my daughter's group are great! I also like the character bead necklace, my daughter comes home everyday with a new bead representing a good trait she displayed. Very Happy!
Always clean and the staff is very nice. Sometimes pool schedules are difficult to figure out, but I make it work.

I love everything about Kerr YMCA. The councilors and staff provide a wholesome and safe environment for the children to thrive and have a positive experience, while being offered so many things to do and learn. They are taught what it is to be a team player in every aspect of their lives and to treat everyone with kindness and respect. All this is done with "fun" in mind through out the day. Kona Ice is always a big hit.
I can't thank the Kerr YMCA enough for all that they do for the community, and for helping the kids recognize what true community looks like.
Nice people, facilities, indoor walking track, pools for all ages, locker rooms, supervised children's play area, classes, the vibrant atmosphere.
The camp is well organized and they have a lot of great activities planned for the kids. Every day when I pick up my daughter she says she's had so much fun! The staff really care about the kids. I also appreciate the staff's communication with me about a few issues that came up about my daughter.
Facility is well run. Staff seems to provide the right amount of accountability with people to make sure everyone is having a good experience. Clean facility. Good equipment options. Pool is great.

I’ve always loved being a member of the Kerr YMCA. I grew up here.
The only reason I ever left was because I could not afford the increased membership. Our family paid through the entire pandemic when we couldn’t even use the facilities.
Now, it’s offered through my insurance and I have rejoined. Unfortunately the rest of my family is unable to rejoin because of the cost. And we talk about it all the time about how much we’d love to have the whole family back there. Especially with two grandbabies that have been born.

Very clean facility with abundant exercise equipment and classes.Staff are very friendly and courteous to members from children to seniors. I use the gym equipment while my wife attends exercise classes.
The fact that it’s not a huge place, but offers all the classes, swimming, & machines I need! Plus I love the dry sauna

Wish things were kept just a bit cleaner in the lower level workout areas. I realize it’s hard to keep up with.
