Friendly staff. I like the variety of group exercise classes offered. Close to my home.
I like going to the gym at hope valley. Also because it is small and quiet in there. Everybody is in there focused on going through their exercises route and being quiet. I really like that. Everyone is cordially and respectful to each other regarding using the equipments.
Friendly, nice facilities
Love Love the tennis courts and the tennis community there. Has nice and varied programming and classes for all! Staff is super and courts are maintained beautifully…not an easy chore!
The gym setup is quite good.
The staff are friendly, the classes are good, and the pool is great in the summer.
Excellent staff, group exercise classes & nice facilities! Couldn’t be happier!
Clean facility and nice employees
Excellent cron desk warm and helpful. Clean machines!
The counselors are great with my child!
The YMCA at Hope Valley farms is great the people are excellent I just started I am in my fifties and I am slowly but surely getting back into getting into fit and just speaking with the staff they are very encouraging and I am so excited I'm trying to take my first yoga class I am kind of nervous but they are very very nice and encouraging thank you for being the people that you are
I had my daughter in daycare before switching to the YMCA. She says she likes it here much better than daycare. She loves being outside, so that is her favorite part. I love that she had time to complete her homework. As a single parent, that is everything. She wants to get outside time after school and has time to complete homework, that’s a win in my book.
Everyone i meet either working or working out is friendly. The places are clean and inviting. And a wide array of classes available.
Convenient location, friendly staff, not too crowded.
Very professional and friendly staff! Ample parking. Beautiful and relaxing environment!
Overall, now that the pool has closed for the year, it is a nice facility. The gym on the lower level and the group fitness room on the main level divide the workout areas. The classes are getting more crowded and hitting capacity limits as instructors gain popularity. Still problems remain with the IPad sign in system, especially on weekends. The overall cleanliness has declined. When I talked with a facility person last week about how dirty an air filter was, he took a pic and said it would be changed , but a week later it still hasn’t been.
I come to the YMCA for the people. Jessica and Laurie are outstanding instructors. They keep me coming back.
That said, we really need some work in the group fitness studio.
There are not enough yoga blocks for a full class and some of them look like they were chewed on by a dog or toddler. I don't know how often the blankets are washed and I didn't get one the last two times I came to class because there are not enough. I hear that the Cary Y has yoga bolsters -- why don't we have nice equipment like them?
I’ve enjoyed the swimming and tennis courts. The website is not easy to navigate though
The pool, swim lessons, childcare and the gym are the main reasons we joined the YMCA. I like the family events and the cleanliness of the gym.

Very personable
Laurie is an awesome teacher. She s so cheerful and challenging.😍
Very good setup and variety for children.
I like the variety of classes offered and convenient location.
Staff are very helpful. Laurie's workout classes are great. The gym in the basement is too small given the number of people who share this limited space. The shower rooms are undersized - too few toilets, showers, and space to dress and undress - especially when the children from the various camps need to use the limited space.
The kids love it and always looking forward to it
My son comes home tired and excited about the day. He seems to be learning about how to play and interact with others.
Yoga classes with Sam
I really like the location, the reception personnel, the appearance and cleanliness of the facility, and availability and quality of the operational exercise equipment.
