This YMCA is a convenient location in SW Durham. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The fitness classes are excellent and Laurie is a favorite instructor! Availability of fitness equipment is good.

The bus service directly from the elementary school is so important, also. It is the main reason we selected YMCA after school.
I love the amount of play time, crafts and outside time that my child receives.
My daughter comes home every day so happy and excited about what she did at the Y. I rarely hear about school, but can tell you all about the bus ride, snack, the playground, her Y friends, and everything else. She loves her counselors and staff and would, quite frankly, prefer to go to the Y rather than to school. Thanks for being an amazing space for my kid!

I love that it is in my neighborhood, has a pool for the hot months, and has very frequent open hours, giving me max flexibility! Also, the staff who work there are so friendly and helpful!

I like the location, the pool, the tennis courts.
There should be more group tennis, open plsy times without fees-like with the other sports downtown, where are you have open basketball time or Zumba or yoga. Why do we have to pay every time we want to do anything with a tennis group?
There was only one other person there when I came so I felt uncomfortable being alone in the locker room.
It would also be great if there were outlets by the two lounge chairs in the entrance area.
Otherwise it’s a very nice facility!
