Good equipment, friendly, clean facility. I like the cardio machines with videos to watch (Matrix) and the wide variety of free weights. I am a middle-aged woman and it's better for me to increase in 2.5 pound increments (5 pounds is a lot!). Typically enjoy the music and TV shows that are playing in the background.
A month or two ago, as it was starting to get darker, I noticed that some of the parking lot streetlights were out. They were replaced almost as soon as I noticed it. Great proactive effort in keeping everyone safe!

ALL the employees at Alexander YMCA are so warm and special. The equipment is great. The pool temperature is a warm 82 which is perfect for me. The Y is my favorite place to be and I tell all my friends that!

I love the YMCA. Employees are always friendly and helpful. The Y provides a warm, inclusive environment. Lots of classes offered; good , often updated equipment.
I see too there are attempts to encourage people to stop staring at their phones and be present. The "No Parking" stickers were clever and on point. This is still an annoying problem, however, so if you come up with further ways to handle it, I will appreciate it.
